Basically,

Ive just started doing bitmining, im trying to run the bitminter but it seems to just be counting the 'work units started on'.

It says in lacking opencl support and if i want to use gpu's then i need the latest drivers (which I have).

Also it says 'Electricity wasting slow cpu implementation in use'

I need some help, can you explain this to me and how to fix it?

Thanks!

Check the stand you have the latest drivers for your video card, if not, then download it from the official site and install it.

Good god, that's a notebook. Stop what you're doing before the thing goes up in flames.

You will not mine anything on that before it dies in a ball of fire.

At this point CPU mining is long dead and GPU mining is on it's way out with only a scant few weeks until the ASICs roll out in force. Your notebook only supports CPU mining and is a particularly poor choice as these things are not built to be run at 100% load 24/7.

Investing into a GPU rig at this point in time seems unwise because with ASICS rolling out as they are it's unlikely you'd make your investment back.

Investing into an ASIC remains a choice but requires a hefty sum of money. ASICMiner Eruptor blades with 10 GH/s are currently selling at about 5000 $ but at least get delivered a week after. With other ASIC manufacturers this is not so, especially with BFL ordering now you'd MAYBE (wait, let me redo that) MAYBE get the things in August and then it's increasingly unlikely again to ever recoup the cost.
