Daily use of bitcoin?

Hi friends,

As far as I know, bitcoin payments take a little time to approve. Will these approval times make it difficult to use bitcoin in our daily lives?
For example, I would get a coffee from Starbucks. Do I have to wait for approval to pay for what I have done for hours?

The confirmation time is without a doubt a limitation to use bitcoin like that, bitcoin is better suited for operations where you don’t need confirmation in a matter of seconds, so the usage in our daily lives of bitcoin is going to be limited, but bitcoin is great for operations like the ones you do in internet.

It can be limited at a moment but things can change in future when confirmation time will get faster and also we will find many places to spend them physically but if talk about the present then yes the usage of bitcoin in real world is very limited.

The only thing we can do is to wait for the confirmation tog et faster as the technology keeps its development and the developers find ways to get faster confirmations.

If we have more miners yah it will get better in the future. But for now waiting for all blocks of your transaction to be confirmed is not that necessary

because a transacton will be irreversible if it has one or more confirmations. This wil be possible if the owner has a well understanding of bitcoin.

For the simple fact that there isn't nor there wasn't any such usage either today or in the past. On the contrary, virtually no use of Bitcoin in everyday life can become history if we start using Bitcoin for our daily expenses in the future. If we don't we will just continue as before. Personally, I don't consider such spending a good idea overall, but other than that, we are moving in that direction, i.e. toward instant payments. This is the logical step ahead as well as the one which doesn't require dramatic changes to Bitcoin and which is long due and overdue

Correct. I wouldn't use it for everyday needs. Even today are in use the bitcoin debit cards with which you can pay instantly that you want to buy. But I wouldn't use it more for another reason. Bitcoin, according that I think, is more an investment tool than an everyday money. The value of bitcoin is hoped to achieve big figures. So my question in this case is: Worth to use it for everyday needs or desires?

My daily use of bitcoin is on trading usually, trades with altcoin buy and sell it. And currently I used bitcoin as mode of payment, sending payment to others which is fast transactions. Buying some stuff online I usually do with my bitcoin. These things really help me also which is hassle free.

Wow, you did it was great. Because with active use bitcoin on a daily basis, then you help introduce bitcoin against everyone. What else you do is reserved to trade or buy something that does anyone else want to accept bitcoin, then that is a step better than the selfish interests of their own. And they are accelerating at faster rates than they were during the best part of last 100 years. Internet itself was still rather new some twenty years ago, and look, now we can't live without it. Smartphones appeared a little over a decade ago, but now their raw power exceeds the power of desktop computers available same decade ago. It is not given that Bitcoin itself will exist in 10 years, but it could be said with certainty that if it will, it will be entirely different from what it is now

If that is your problem then look for a local online merchant in your country that accepts bitcoin. If you cannot search it in google then try searching one in the social media sites. In facebook there are thousands of merchants that accepts bitcoin coming from different parts of the world then just search for one that is from your region and maybe you could find good products to buy.

Bitcoin is not concerned about that kind of problem. As long as bitcoin performs its task about payment then that's about it, the delivery time of the store is the store's scope. On the other hand, in the near future, it is probable that online shops worldwide will accept bitcoin as payment. So let us just wait for it, that's the best we can do for now.

Mostly i use bitcoin when i need money to withdraw i send to my digital wallet called webmoney and after that transfer to my bank. On my country right now, not too much services accepting bitcoin even if they are they take 30-40% more then a normal price. Still we don't find a way to confirm transactions faster, that's the biggest problem why we can't use it everwhere

Definitely,its becoming a great issue nowadays which would make new companies to drop bitcoin adoption.It has to be solved and the other issue of high transaction fees too has to be solved as bitcoin users will not find it economical to buy small goods with bitcoin otherwise.

i am hopeful that such issues will be solve on priority basis, i do not think that these are such big problems, for which companies will drop bitcoin, i think they will wait for the issue to be solve.

if indeed this problem will not be resolved, should the company or franchise have a written agreement with the provider of transaction, so if there is a pending transaction due to flooding in MemPool, companies will use their funds for 24-hour time limit. Indeed, this is a major concern and have an SEGWIT idea use to prevent chaos transaction in the future.

What Lightning Network are you pertaining about ?  

Well, yeah we can't admit that the confirmation in Bitcoin takes too long. But, once we send transactions, all we need is the TX ID. As long as TxID appears. Means that the transactions are in the Blockchain already so I think it can be used in our daily lives. In fact I watched a news in the TV that there is a cafe I think that accepts Bitcoin as a payment. And he is not having trouble using it so for me its okay to use Bitcoin as mode of payment in the commodities that we should pay in our daily living.

Bitcoin may not make sense for short purchases. But I think it would be more suitable for long term shopping.
For example, we can make payments for a product that we receive as installment with bitcoin. In fact, we can use bitcoin in the payment of products like coffee. When we enter an appropriate fee value, our transactions are confirmed within 10 minutes.

With the bitcoin transaction getting slower I see the idea of using bitcoin on daily basis is kind of hard, because think of it going to buy coffee like you said and you send the shop keeper the bits and then what you sit like for 20 minutes 30 or 40, bitcoin is still not in that kind of state I think and it seems that the best option for us is just to earn bitcoin and then just exchanges it to fiat when the prices are high and buy stuff with it.

Once you made a payment with bitcoin and when it appears to the blockchain then it is already considered as a confirmed payment. The confirmation for bitcoin is not a problem when doing transactions and doing payments for business because you can all find it on blockchain where all the transactions are stored in the cloud network.
