I know that sometimes miners get false positives and you can't trust Google to be on top of things logically, but why is bfgminer.org getting warnings and why isn't it cleared up if it's a false positive?

Because it's not BFGMiners site.  Go the the BFG Miner support thread, look up in this section, and download ONLY from the links the author has provided.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.

That is not bfgminer.org as your originally said.  You should post this in the BFGMiner support thread so Luke Jr. can explain this properly.
