Vanilla wow Mage Tips?

Hello guys. I have started to play on Elysium Vanilla WoW private server and i made Mage . Because i never played with Mage im interested for some basic tips and things i sould know abouth that class ? Everything is usefull , from which statistic is best to what talent tree to use and why you think its best . As i said anything is welcome . Thanks for helping noob friend here .
