I was really impressed with the performance of Valentina Shevchenko against Holly Holmes as i really did not know who Valentina Shevchenko was when the match was scheduled and so i wagged my money on Holly Holmes and that made a huge mess on my bank roll ,but now i know how she could perform and i will wage my bet on Valentina.

The matches i am looking for in this card are Donald Cerrone vs  Jorge Masvidal and with the current form of Donald Cerrone in the welterweight division i would not dare to bet against him,Shevchenko is a good fighter with a good kick boxing record and she recently defeated Holy Holmes and so my bet would be with Shevchenko rather than Pena.

This is a nice fight between the no.1 and no.2 in the women's bantam weight division. I do not know what the odds are yet but Julianna Peña might be the favorite in this fight but not by much. Valentina should be more aggressive and try to change it up from a counter puncher to aggressor once in a while.

Yup!  Watching Cerrone in any MMA event is always good.  He's one of my favorite fighters of all time.  He seems relaxed and always cool.  I can't wait for the weigh-ins and the stare downs this weekend.

Andre Arlovski last tasted victory was Sep 5, 2015 and then after that, he lost all 3 consecutive fights. Unlike his opponent on this fight, looking at his UFC profile, 4 straight wins. Andre Arlovskis last matches are not impressive from Round 1 and Round 2 TKO's and a submission. I'll put my money on Francis Ngannou for this fight.

You really cannot count out Andre Arlovski's punching power as he could knock you out with a punch but i am impressed with the performance of Francis Ngannaou but the problem is i am not sure how his stamina would hold if the fight stretches to the third round as i have seen Francis tiring in the later rounds as a loss here for Andre Arlovski would be his last in the UFC.

Valentina Shevchenko and Julianna Peña are really good fighters and i was really impressed and lost the respected bets as i never expected those performance by both .The way in which Shevchenko out boxed Holly Holmes who was a world champion made me realize that the women division has got some good talents and Julianna Pena surprised me with her wrestling when she faced Cat Zingano. The winner of this match will face the champion pretty soon.

Hey guys watch Juliana Pena in action in this video and notice her style.  I think she could a bad match up stylistically for Shevchenko .  I don't think Shev will be able to handle her when it gets to the ground.  I seldom outwardly predict how exactly an MMA fight ends but in this fight, I'm somewhat confident that Pena could win via GnP (TKO) in the first or second round.

I can't wait to see both Shev and Pena fight it out in the octagon.  The winner (either way) should be a good match up against the champ Amanda Nunes, unlike the very much hyped Rousey.  Anyway here's an episode of The Road to the Octagon for this event.  Enjoy!

While I agree with you that Valentina Shevchenko could win because she has good take down defense, I am afraid Juliana will give it her all and be relentless in her assaults. She will take Valentina down and when she does that is where her opponent's problems will start. Valentina is weak on the ground.

It is like you really know them but do not have the confidence to declare your pick and at what method Juliana Peña will win. I would make the same bet but the safer bet would be Juliana inside the distance.

I'm putting my money on Cowboy Cerrone. He has been doing good lately. Not only a good fighter but also showing good sportmanship in and out of the octagon. He had a good 2016 with all four fights getting a win and 3 of them awarded as "permance of the night". Not gonna be surprised if he will headline again in one of UFCs events.
