I dont think it is a good idea to use martingale in sport, it is going to consume your time since the sport will end in hours and then the sport odds usually is not 2, but some times can be lower and sometimes can be higher, so it is hard to reach the profit that you want

Thats right mate its hard but if op will do day to day basis and use also parlay might be have a good chances of success, but its still a long journey before achieving  many things are needed to assess and review from players and teams especially their stats.

But i'm honestly not a fan of martingle strategy because it always ended up busted because it is very risky once your bad luck hits you. The biggest issue is that you are not getting the same odds across the board for your bets.

Martingale is based on the fact that you always have the same return if you win. If you bet with sportsbetting at 1.77 and the next at 1.82, there is already a difference. Suppose you lose the 1.82 bet and then win the 1.77 bet with double the amount, you have to start over from the first amount but your winnings are not one bet more than what you lost.

i have done this kind betting style applied in sports , the result good enough.
to get over the different odds in every event you can adjust the bet amount to make it feel like having 2x multiplier.
at least doing martingale on sportsbetting much better than have to do it on dice. good luck btw.

But if you are adjusting the bet size, you are not really doing martingale anymore.. The whole idea is that you keep doubling so you always win what you bet in the first place.

I agree that if you can find games with similar odds, the chances of going bust while doing martingale are much lower in sports as the outcome is kind of more predictable.

It is true that martingale might work a little better in sports, but odds are never really what they are show to be. The house edge taken while setting those odds is usually much higher. So if you bet on a game of 2x, the odds are likely more like 2.2x, so how do you expect to win by martingale ?

Simply because the games are not to have one team win and then lose. It just does not happen that way. This is obvious when it came to the Phoenix Suns playing two nights in a row. They beat New York Knicks at home and then beat Toronto Raptors in the following night whom were also playing at home.
So how would your strategy work using this martingale?
It is not possible to predict games outcome in this way.

You would think that wouldn't you?!
But I bet on a basketball game last night with a parlay on both tickets of mine. It was the Boston Celtics and they ended up tying. It was the very first game on a 5 game ticket and a 4 game one on the other.
So there you go! 55mbtc down the drain just on trying out this martingale system of theirs.
Betting isn't exactly rocket science but the chances of you figuring out a system to know what the exact outcome will be, is impossible. No matter what you think you know.
