What is the difference of Trading to Investing?

Trading is the process of exchanging of goods or services. Like in the trading sites. They exchanging different coins while the investing is a process of hoarding to buy and sell coins.

No, that was the old definition of trading and investing. Right now the terms are mostly associated by how much time you are holding the asset (e.g. Bitcoin, stocks, other altcoins). Trading is use when you are holding something for less than a year which is a short term position. However a long term position is referred to us investing in which you hold it more than a year or so before you start selling.

No actually investing is believing on the project that you had invested to. while trading your main point is to get profit from it and then run away. that is the difference for me what is trading and what is investing. there is no time period on those two for me

well if you look at it closely, when you trade,you're investing on an altcoin which makes it pretty much the same. both require you to gather as much information as possible on where you're going to invest on or what altcoin you're going to deal with. bith requires patience to be able to make the most out of your capital

There is difference on between, some traders just dont follow news about the certain coins but they are having technical analysis based on the graph that the coin has. It means that they are just relying on the charts and some indicators about the certain coin.

Yes you are actually right, i want to add that in both there is always be a risk it just depends on how you will manage it. If you are going to invest or to trade you need capital or a source of bitcoin to start on it. Then you need to have knowledge and prior idea on a specific investment you will choose. But you can lessen the risk if  you will dedicate and you will set goals to earn more. You need also to put in mind that its better to take the risk because if you will work hard it is sure worth it because in bitcoin it is a sure investment and an easy way of trading.

Yes, trading is where you buy some of one currency wait for another currencies’s worth to go to a certain point and then buy that currency. Investing is where you buy one currency and hold it for a long period of time hoping that in the long run it will rise and you will make a profit. This is the safest method also. I would go with investing if I were you.

The time required for a result might be differentiating trading and investments. But there are chances some investments are quick enough to get a result, in those case there will be no difference between trading and investing.

Trading is a business while gambling is a game. They are both addicted and they are both have a high risk. Before you try the two you must first study the trading and gambling.

In a small sample the trade can be said just as we buy goods and in a short time the goods must be sold for profit.
Another case with small sample investment we buy a house with a price that is not too expensive but for 2 or 3 years the price of the house we can sell at a high price so we get a profit not in a short time but in the year to come.

If you mean by that, I think investing is equal to long term trading which you trade your coin with a long period than just 1 day or 1 week. In my opinion, trading and investing are sometimes equivalent to each other but investing contains more fields than trading

This may be the safest because like what's happening today with bitcoin. If you are holding bitcoins and you invested there earlier, it's a good return for you. You need only to watch for the price of bitcoin to get higher so in return you don't have to make any efforts from profiting there, it's why you will see a lot of people that are investing today.
