Who will be the first user to reach 10,010 activity?

Just a little bit of lighthearted fun for a change; Who will be the first user to reach 10,010 activity?

Activity 10,010 will take 715 fortnights and equates to roughly 27.5 years

Some members have been here since 2010, so will come up to 7.5 years with just another 20 years to go very soon.  I myself have been here for about 3.5 years with activity 1022 have chalked up just on 10% of the time. There are actually a few UID's that have alread chalked up 10,000 posts, so all they would have to do is log back in once per fortnight for the next 20 years and post just once per fortnight from now on.

Can you make it?  Will the forum still be here?  Will BitCoin?  Time will tell.

My guess is that it will directly correlate with whether bitcoin price continues to rise.  I have noticed when price is not changing much, the older users posts and logins start to slow down.  But if things keep increasing year after year, you can bet there will be some dedicated users around as long as things remain interesting.

By the time that users hit 10,000 activity Bitcoin will either be over $10k or worthless I expect.


Logically thinking, if the forum is still here then I would expect that theymos would also be here with it. Considering that he currently has the highest activity by a decent margin, he would likely be the first to hit it providing the first case happens.
However, I would personally be very surprised if the forum was still here by the time users could reach 10k activity. Prove me wrong though

Looking at some of the current posts, we need to copy some of the features in Bitcoin. As the activity increases, we need to increase the level of difficulty, and halve the rewards.

Of course I am talking about posters with an activity level below 1,000 here.

This a very interesting question. I am going to follow this and hopefully 20 years (or so) later, we will know the result. Some people currently on the top list may forgot to post, go coma or (worst) die suddenly (not pointing at anyone) so the top few people may not be the first one. I am sure this thread is going to be a very hot topic in the coming years - as long as Bitcointalk continue.

I consider your idea rather smart or stupid. Yes you can stimulate their motivation for the prize but thinking about you will gwt it for what? 20 years?! Who can wait that long for an amazon card! You can earn here by signature campaign and buy yourself that card in less than 20 years. Plus, who runs a contest for 20years? Maybe the dares you and your buddies take.
