Hi Eliovp,
2 suggestions/inquiries/observations:
1. Grouping Rigs by IP range. Can I use 192.168.x.x - 192.168.x.x, 192.168.x.x to group rigs by range and another IP, separated by comma? If cannot, then can I change the rig's IP address permanently via the portal?
2. Some miners support failover pool like sgminer-gm on the same command line... how do to do this with your current GUI? For Claymore miners... usually failover pools will require epools.txt, how to do this?
Your OS if designed for GPU farms, failover pool is mandatory because mining needs to be 24x7 with maximum hashing power without unnecessary downtime.
Anyways, looking good this OS, very clever design.
Thanks!
1. You can create as many groups as you want, so your idea, the comma separated part, you can easily solve this by just creating a second group and point it at the same pool/wallet as the other group. Example: Rigs in range: 192.168.1.10-192.168.1.25 will point to Algo A with Wallet A Rigs in range: 192.168.1.50-192.168.1.55 will point to Algo B with Wallet B You can easily then add a third group like so: 192.168.1.60-192.168.1.61 (2 rigs, or even 1 if you want) that also point to Algo 1 with Wallet A. Possibilities are wide 2. It's all been taken care of , i just (i know) have to still add this to the manager, it's already there in the backend. Been a bit busy the past few days to add new things/improve other things. But i'll be on top of it again starting from tomorrow! Your OS if designed for GPU farms, failover pool is mandatory because mining needs to be 24x7 with maximum hashing power without unnecessary downtime. Totally agree!

Hi Eliovp, Me again, I am just getting started on the OS and trying to accomplish the following: 5 groups, at the moment will mine full speed with all she got with XMR mining at "stratum+tcp://cryptonight.hk.nicehash.com:3355" I would like to use sgminer-gm v5.5.5-4 for the groups below and each group will have a different mining settings maximizing the GPU type. Group 1: R9-390 (sgminer-gm v5.5.5-4, -ri 680 -w 8 -g 2) Group 2: R9-Nano (sgminer-gm v5.5.5-4, -ri 896 -w 8 -g 1) Group 3: R7-370 (sgminer-gm v5.5.5-4, -ri 896 -w 8 -g 1) Group 4: R9-290 (sgminer-gm v5.5.5-4, -ri 896 -w 8 -g 1) Group 5: RX480 (sgminer-gm v5.5.5-4, -ri 1008 -w Using the Grouping feature, I have created 5 groups as per above but, I can't set individual sgminer settings to each group. Please advise or any workaround. Thanks

I am getting 2 os one on the panda miner and maybe one for the msi rx 470 rigs.

If I run this OS on some hosted Pandaminers in another Country do they need to have open ports for me to login and manage from my Country?

Nope, I am in the USA and I have 56 on his service right now But how do you access them remotely without open ports on the hosting side?

Nope, I am in the USA and I have 56 on his service right now But how do you access them remotely without open ports on the hosting side? A router off the shelf, cisco, dlink etc should work fine. I have a higher end sonicwall that I did not have to mod either. Since most routers are set to outbond traffic is not restricted you should not have an issue. It's web based. You don't access your machines directly, you access his website and my machines are in constant communication with the web interface. Therefore if you send a reboot command in less than a min you system will restart for example.

My pandaminers will be hosted in Canada as power is too expensive in my Country and my host mentioned they do not have any ports open for security reasons.

I've been trying out Eliovp's mxm ROMS on my pandas, slowly applying them to one card at a time, and can definitely say I'm pleased with the results. A pandaminer that I just finished flashing (takes me about a day to flash a rig since I do one card and a time and then let it mine to validate stability): Solid 2MH/s/card increase on Ethereum. Great stuff Eliovp!

No i haven't, i like to keep my cards a bit longer. Especialy MXM cards, if you want to get them dead rather quickly, go dual mine. I've seen some nice pictures of Dual Mining results.. I've never done it and i will never do it. Some guy, yeah you all know who, implemented it into his miners.. Marketing at it's best..

I am using Optiminer 1.7 with smOS. Thanks
