I am little bit confused, How can I add node?
I did it for you:

https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/174741583

(actually by using a way, instead of a node)

You have to study OSM:

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Beginners%27_guide

I didn't add the telephone number, because it should comply with a standard format. You can do it by following this page:

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:phone

Ciao!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I think it would be nice to see all ATMs on the CoinMap a lot different sources pop-up.

I just launched http://coinmap.org/

It's a map showing places where Bitcoin is accepted. All you have to do is to add payment:bitcoin=yes tag to your venue in OpenStreetMap. Venues are added automatically (database is updated every 15 minutes). The map also tries to determine the type of the venue from OSM tags and assign the correct icon.

Thanks for sharing this!

You realise it's a wiki? If you think those would be nice additions, you just add them Wink

A word of caution though from my personal experience: Simply copying over locations from a copyrighted map (i.e. Google maps) is (from what I gather) not permitted by OSM and as such frowned upon (at least) in their community.

The map does not have everything that it could have on it. I provide an in home service to an area, but since I don't have a building I cant add myself to open street map.

Are you saying you don't have a physical location for your service? If so then there's no way it could appear in CoinMap.

There is no way as it exists currently. Google maps handles services without a physical location so it is possible.

I've never seen such a thing. Do you have examples of this?

I would like to create a URL that will take someone directly to a specific location on Coinmap. For example, a customer could click a link on a website for a physical business and Coinmap would open with that specific location selected. I think I recall seeing this implemented on other business websites. Could someone please explain how to do it?

Do a google map search for handyman or maid services or whatever. The tear drop shaped icons are services with physical locations the circular icons are services that serve that general area but lack a physical location.

This is not possible at the moment, because of the bug where MarkerCluster plugin interferes with Permalink plugin.

You could link the OSM entity (node/way), instead. For example:

http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/2342088989

You can get it by clicking on the blue asterisk near the name, in CoinMap.

This is not possible at the moment, because of the bug where MarkerCluster plugin interferes with Permalink plugin.

It "sort of" works via the Search function on the map. I type in a business name and after a little while a list of entries that contain that name opens below the search box. Clicking one of those takes the map straight to the business address. Unfortunately those entries are not links, but in a script. Could this be changed so they appear as actual links?

You made it payment:bitcoins=yes
Also:

1) I think the locations isn't right: do you work on the street?
2) building=* can't be used with nodes [1]
3) curiosity=* is a very unusual tag [2]
4) payment:litecoins is wrong (as in payment:bitcoins)
5) you should add a space between "349" and "3262951" [3]
6) your website seems to be broken; in any case you should follow the correct syntax [4]
7) you should add the tag office=it [5]

Ciao!

I hope I am not asking a stupid question: is it possible to specify a location and/or a range in the coinmap URL, so when someone clicks that URL, the map opens in a specific location with a specific view?

I tried to google for it and didn't find any instruction. If it's not supported yet, I think it's a useful feature.
