This site has become very difficult to use. Between the poor/zero scrolling performance and those frustrating captchas, the whole thing is incredibly unattractive. Which is a shame, as it was at one point the best merchant acceptance map.

I use the site since it started and never seen a CAPTCHA? Where do you get it?

Every time I load the site. And the site uses Cloudflare (the devil's captchas, lol). It only started a couple of months ago

Very odd. From where do you access the site? Any "funny" stuff in your connection?

No it isn't, Cloudflare seem to do this with every single website they protect. It's likely an anti-DOS measure, the reason this happens is almost certainly because I access the website through a VPN proxy IP

That's not what I meant. It's odd you get it and I don't get it at all. Never.

I'm having trouble dragging the map to navigate it. It didn't have this problem before.

+1

Me too. Actually the first drag is ok, but once I click one of the circles, I can't drag anymore. This was working fine just a few hours ago.

Is there something wrong with using a virtual private network?

Seems to me you'd have to ask Cloudfare that question.

I only commented because you made it sound like the problem might face a majority of users. You did not mention Cloudfare/VPN to begin with.

Cloudlflare don't cast aspersions on VPN use, but you did. So I'm asking you.

Did I really donate 3BTC to you? Can I have it back? Tongue

It's weird that you would remove Litecoin because you didn't get any donation in LTC. Have you considered that a lot of Litecoin users prefer to spend BTC in the past year because they feel like LTC has more upside?

Anyways, including Litecoin was only a few line changes. I'm quite disappointed that you would do this to make a statement. I guess I won't be using CoinMap anymore.

Wanna trade some shitcoins?

It is not possible to drag around after clicking to a certain place for info.
Also... the number of available places (and their names) on the right side are not displayed anymore... why? - that was very useful and practical info to have.

Osmand (for Android) supports offline display of OpenStreetMap maps.  It also allows to view Bitcoin acceptance places as POIs (like coinmap does).

I see reference to permalinks in this thread but I can't seems to confirm if they are working? I'm trying to share a map of my local city with the community showing our available locations without them having to use geolocation. Is this feature available? How can I get a URL that shows the local city?

Can we get a response to this question please?
