Localbitcoins is a very well established exchange.It will be very hard to compete with them.

That is absolutely true and we do not expect it to be easy or fast, but we believe that it would be good for bitcoin community to have alternatives and competition in this niche. It should lead to overall better quality of service!

good luck with your project sir, i already filled your survey, but i agree with BuySomeBitcoins said because not all of us, will buying and selling with big amount, i see there is only the range with the big amount, i think it would be good if you change it and make revision for the question. thank you.

In my opinion, single biggest thing aside from customer support and ease of use should be large, active and campaigning community.

It is precisely that, what differentiates mere tool from established and respected brand/franchise.

Did the survey even if I've only helped someone make a first purchase through localbitcoins.

Any kind of exchange service will succeed/fail mainly on the strength of its verification policies, fraud prevention and customer service. In fact, fees, spreads and price tend to be secondary for the majority of people, especially if volume is low to mid range.

But the security, ease, speed and support is what makes people return and remain loyal to an exchange service. Good luck with your venture!

Why do you need all that info? Why are those questions required?

We are trying to collect this information to gain understanding of core audience - what is their age, lifestyle, issues and etc. This will tremendously help to build our product. For example if your audience is people 40+ years with only high school eduction you would build your product certain way and if you audience is in 16-26 range and extremely skilled with computers and internet you would take different approach.

Most people find acceptable to answer these questions, especially taking into account that survey is anonymous. Nevertheless I am sorry that these questions were to personal for you. I understand and respect your right for privacy. Thank you anyway for attempting survey. I would be grateful if you let me know which question in particular were to personal. PM if you can.

Localbitcoin is already satisfied exchange for most of the traders for me too but there in only one problem to me and that is most verified traders have a high minimum limit and sometimes I cannot trade with them.
I will say that if you will start an exchange like localbitcoins then you will put a direct affect on localbitcoins but only if you have a good fund for advertising it.

Thanks for dropping in Bitcotalk! Good for you that you happy with how things are at lbc, definitely not my experience. According to our survey and other data most people not happy mostly with UI/UX and customer support. We are going to go focus on these two areas. And you are absolutely right about marketing to be important for this project!
