Hello there,

It seems that lately the Alternate Cryptocurrencies board is kind of getting out of control. This makes things very hard to find over there. Stuff about mining hardware, new web services, faucets, new software clients, people that want to buy or sell alt-coins,  pools, et ceterra et cetera all inbetween and through eachother.  I think that two or three subboards would clean the place up a little.
I would suggest to introduce:
-A board dedicated to mining (hardware, software and pools).
-A board dedicated to software/web/other projects people make with and for alt-coins.

Of course, I am still kind of new here, so my opinion might not be as well-formed as those of some of the more established members. So, what do you think?

cos of Ripple, mainly. It's Ripple's main forum somewhat actually.

The AC area needs to be subdivided so that I can ignore all of them except Ripple.

Of course I do not have a defence against this. If this is what you think is best, then so be it. Wink

I agree, its kind of a mess in there and it gets a ton of traffic.

I think LTC needs its own "child board" in the Altcurrency subforum - at the minimum - that would help a lot.

It would help the LTC price maybe, but it'll just make the main board even more of ripplescam posts.

Make your own forum, then make a thread with a link and work out a deal with Salty to sticky it. Best of both orllds.

I'd also like to see separate sub-boards for each coin..

Given how the average lifespan (ie when there's active users) for an alt coin is somewhere around 3 months..

Then I think a temporary solution like mine is an even better idea than another child board that will be useless in no time.
