Our blockchain and smart-contract specialist (Sergey, JackBekket) has prepared pre-ICO smart contract, which you can find on github www.github.com/sonm-io
This contract hasn t passed audit from Max Taldykin, who has made his comments:

however Sergey also gave quite comprehensive explanations on it and agreed that we edit it according to some of Max comments (Sergey for example defends the ability to stop pre-sale any time).

Therefore we decided to delay deployment of the pre-ICO smart-contract for one week. Max agreed to prepare a new smart-contract in collaboration with Sergey.
You are specialist in Solidity yourself, so you can evaluate it afterwards and most probably we will ask someone else also to make an audit. We ll be happy to get recommendations from the community.

We are preparing the team, which can make the technology. Technology itself we can make after ICO only (before ICO - only prototype according the RoadMap).

Any updates? You seem finalizing your team and is trying to set representatives in any parts of the world which is a great idea. And by the way you should also try to have a representative in Australia. Just my own observation but lately succeful ICOs like Chronobank and Incent are based in Australia. Just take your time. Update. We have a pool of interested pre-ICO investors. But they want to see prototype, which meets certain requirements. We are working on it right now.

We realized that our project should work as decentralized exchange for computing power. In this exchange buyers will list their tasks with estimation of flops/time, required. We will make some also evaluation and sellers will either trust our estimation or will make estimation of time required themselves and therefore will make their prices. So one list - suggestions of prices from buyers for the tasks and another list - suggestion of sellers for these tasks. Also sellers can setup just a rent price for their devices and buyers can setup these prices. So the deals will be regulated by completely free-market mechanisms. The profit maximization after some time will be maximized using machine learning methods.

So the SONM is not just a market, but a decentralized distributed exchange for computing power with bids and asks markets.

Update: SONM joins forces with Federal Finance group on marketing. We ve met with group of potential investors and they said that our technology is on much later development stage than Golem, iex.ec and similar projects, but we lack marketing. So we joined forces with marketing/finance advisers from Federal Finance group.

1. Because fog computing has a huge potential and will take decent share of cloud computing multi-billion market.
Also, there are lots of solo-miners with idle hardware, (useless with current PoW mining difficulty, even for altcoins) eagering to use them for profit.

2. Unlike competing distributed computing projects, SONM has the functional prototype (Drug Discovery@home), experience and achievements.
Also, we use widespread open-source BOINC technology, modified for fog computing.
BOINC has a huge enthusiastic community all over the world, and it's like Linux comparing to Mac OS. We are pretty sure that SONM developers community will be much more wide comparing to competitors (Golem / iEx.Ec / Elastic / etc)

I have no evidence, but usually scammers make their fictional project based on mainstream ideas.
