If the economy is really screwed people will be more worried about surviving and being safe, and probably won't spare much to invest in brand new technologies like Bitcoin.

Also there is no reason to believe US economy will be hurt(maybe other countries' economy will), they even survived 8 years of Obama

US economy can't be hurt anymore. Obama done pretty good job at destroying it.
Trump will try to recover it at all cost. People are being manipulated by media controlled by democrats.
So far we can see that only haters here are Trump's adversaries and people brainwashed with idea of political correctness used as prime commandment.

this is one of those times that i am really glad that i am not an American. with all their debts and all the economical problems. and many are forecasting a economical crash for US.
the only thing that makes me happy are my investments, i have already bought enough gold and lots of bitcoin to be set for the possibility of going to the moon.

The entire western economy is going to crash. It's already begun, most people just don't see it yet.

Yep, with the DOW breaking 20K and the S&P 500 hitting ATH, Joe blue collars everywhere will believe that Trump is going to save them all and readjust all their life savings back into the over-inflated stock market.  At exactly the wrong time.

After the Fed starts to up rates, look for the crash near the end of the year... Joe Retail is always the one left holding the bag.

Trump voters are so dumb that they think there is no bubble, and S&P will keep growing as long as Trump is in office because he is a genius businessman. This is like 2008 all over again... we are at the peak and people are still delusional enough thinking there will be no backlash. This is going to be a shitshow for the US and then world and bitcoin holders will be making massive gains. Gold holders too, but not as much.

Obama was more of a loved president for everyone. Trump on the other hand has lots of opposition and will not enjoy same favor. Being said that if US economy begins to fall, people will grab bitcoins as it is happening with china and india. This will increase more demand of bitcoins and more the price will be.

Has trump been put in place on purpose so when the crash happens he gets the blame?

I see so many badly saying about Trump that I can believe there where people in the US who voted for him.
I really haven't any big opinion about what kind of effect can make trump on bitcoin and dollar. I just noticed that bitcoin even didn't move from the time of his inauguration, but some people here predicted some real rise. So in this point I am on the position - the time will show.

Has trump been put in place on purpose so when the crash happens he gets the blame?

Actually, my (conspiracy) theory is that he has been put into power so that when the crash happens, Trump & Co. will be able to say that he is the "best" man to renegotiate defaulting on national debts, bank debts, corp. debts, etc. due to his business background.  The Republican camp will blame the crash on 8 years of Obama, and they will blame the Fed and Wallstreet.

Either way though, they will still socialize losses to the masses one way or the other.  Probably through haircuts, asset seizures and sales to foreign interests, etc. And then Trump will gaslight all Americans into believing it is for the "greater good", "rebuilding a better America", pro-American patriotism, "God Bless America" and all that crap.   Roll Eyes

LOL. not to the moon, but to Jupiter, but since the price is currently down, I'm sure it takes a long time to be bitcoin, and gold to have a price that is so expected. if indeed trump really affect bitcoin, I guess that would begin in February. Well, let's hope so

This is a good video on the Keiser Report, Max Keiser interviews Brock Pierce of Blockchain Capital about crypto in the age of Trump. They are really bullish and agree with the analisis of Trump being a very unpredictable figure. We are ahead of 4 or up to 8 years of total uncertainty for the markets, which means massive gains could be made by holding bitcoin.

If remittances get shut down, the use of Bitcoin will explode, effectively bypassing the ban. This might result Trump banning bitcoin every couple of weeks.

He might be a controversial character, but when I look at www.usdebtclock.org/ I think that is exactly what the USA needs at this stage. Obama was too passive and he also spend too much money. Trump will not reverse this debt, but he might slow it down a little bit with some aggressive market decisions.

His decisions will hasten the collapse of other economies that rely strongly on the US imports and relations and these countries will fold. We will then see more people running towards Bitcoin to protect their wealth from a failing global economy.

The US may have a short lived prosperity period, but I think it's not sustainable long term. It's just not possible to compete against the chinese prices because their labour is so cheap, same goes for all illegal mexicans doing tons of work for cheaper.

If you get rid of those that's good because it creates new jobs for americans but americans aren't going to be happy working at mexican tier wages, so this means a lot of expenses will go to pay the american workers in order to manufacture in america and not export as much.

Trump will have to play a game of threatening others to cut exports, and china can't manufacture a lot of quality stuff made in US.

Being president of the United States is not being a monarch. He has ministers, and very good ones, at least in the domain of finance. They all re billionnaire, so they know very well the economy they are ruling. Do not worry : even if he was not that well helped, he could not do any mistake, as at the inverse of how the communist countries used to rule their economy, companies are not owned by the state, and he can not hurt them, so do not worry (or in your case that would be a good thing for you) !

Trump himself is all about Gold, his home, his watch, everything. He loves Gold too much that he will surely do something for commodities after taking powers of the world's most powerful nation. And yeah, he is also in favor of digitization as well as Bitcoins, so there will be events that we will witness in the future which will surprise us all of a sudden when unexpected price hikes will be seen.
