Have you heard the news about the bitcoin unlimited my friend? basically after the current bitcoins give birth to bitcoinX; two things would be possible... either current bitcoins will rise or bitcoinX will. The sad part is if bitcoinX rises, the current bitcoin will be just like those altcoins. knock on steel doors.  In case of a chain split, Bitcoin Core will continue to be the only real Bitcoin. BU will be listed as altcoin, and that's really it. If people want to support an altcoin, then they are of course free to do so. All this drama will however have a temporary negative effect on the price, which may result in a visit to levels deep below the current ones. But as it is right now, nothing of this has happened, and thus everything remains pure speculation. so with this current situation we will see another eth splits just in case BU went out from its case, i agree with your statement mate it will just serve as another alt which will try to compete with btc, we really can't change the fact that btc was already been well known and the current problem will be resolved and we will see another jump in no time. |

Well, in my opinion, of course bitcoin still have a higher price than the current ones. I guess the price of bitcoin was not measured how high, because every year the price of bitcoin is always increasing. so, I think prices are currently high, they could be even higher.

Depends on your definition of 'skyrocket.'  If it's like 1000% increase in the price then it's impossible. What I'm trying to say is there's a lot of up and down in price of bitcoin this year and the prediction made last year was the price will reach $2100 level. Can we still achieve the price of $2100 per bitcoin due to the obstacles bitcoin is facing there and there. |

Several obstacles have been faced on the journey towards reaching all time high as well when the price was stable. Even now it's was described as a major disaster in the growth of bitcoin. But bitcoin have overcome it by a small crash and soon retaining to a good price. This cannot be found in any of the altcoins, soon we can experience the stability and gradual move towards $2000 by the year end. |

I expect they will be sorted out this year. Once the capacity of the BTC network improves, I think the price will skyrocket. $2100 looks achievable once the scaling debate/hard fork controversy dies down.  |

Same here bro, We need to understand that how much crossed over from last year same day to now. We almost changed in the around 600$ and more because of halving effect and Christmas bump. After this year from starting of the February onwards price is seems bumping upwards and few days little dump happened. Many of them fear and sold some of their coins. Its not good to them for sure. |

I don't think price of bitcoin will still skyrocket today because, it happened that many were dumping because of panic selling happened lately. But I am not having negative hope that maybe next month this challenges of bitcoin price will be overcome, and everything will be back to normal. In achieving this we must have the better determination to come up a good result in the future price increase to gain reasonable profit.

The only thing the majority of people using bitcoin can do is to just wait since our opinion have no real effect in my opinion but that does not mean it should not be shared. I don't see the reason why bitcoin should be unlimited because this will cause it to be much more available than what is needed and obeying the law of demand and supply, it then crashes the price giving joy to those who have been predicting the doom for bitcoin. |

Yeah frequently checking the price bro. I have noticed today morning its seems around 1030$ and before the day close its turned to 1118$ now. I think with in this month end again we gonna see the peak value in bitcoin price chart. |

And what if it's not over? BU can actually take over and we'll have a migration of current users to the new client. I don't expect it to happen soon, but we have to consider the possibility. Wouldn't that mean the split of investors between the two fraction and ultimately the drop in price of both of them until the process is complete? |

Bitcoin cant again skyrocket it will grow but now like rocket which is going to the moon I am sure in that.It will grow really slow just like now but not faster because it already reached a really big price.

Bitcoin is still tiny in terms of market cap, t can easily be worth 1000 times more than it is now

This is why we badly needed either Segwit or Blocksize increase. Would be better if both is implemented so that both camp will take pleasure of the upcoming update of Bitcoin scalability. This way there is no need for community to split. Just imaging Bitcoin increasing in price without these major update, what more if this major update is implemented! We can see and exponential growth both in adoption and Bitcoin price value. |
