In regards to the Rasp Pi node project...

New "Full Noder" role in Discord

A new "Full Noder" role has been created. If you run a full node, you can apply to have this role added to your Profile by a Moderator.

What Is A Full Node?

A full node is a program that fully validates transactions and blocks. Almost all full nodes also help the network by accepting transactions and blocks from other full nodes, validating those transactions and blocks, and then relaying them to further full nodes.

Most full nodes also serve lightweight clients by allowing them to transmit their transactions to the network and by notifying them when a transaction affects their wallet. If not enough nodes perform this function, clients won’t be able to connect through the peer-to-peer network—they’ll have to use centralized services instead.

Many people and organizations volunteer to run full nodes using spare computing and bandwidth resources—but more volunteers are needed to allow Ubiq to continue to grow.

From Twitter...

Ubiq [Check any giveaways in Ubiq Discord] (@ubiqsmart)

Read about Ubiq’s motivations for forking away from Ethash to Ubqhash to help prevent the situation $ETC is facing. Independent chains should run their own independent Proof of Work algorithms for increased safety against rental attack vectors.

Ubqhash, which is the first algorithm built by team of forks from Ethereum.
And, the algorithm will allows both AMD and NVIDIA miners to join mining the coin, then support the UBQ network.
The difficutly will be adjusted after each 88-second period, that is fast enough to avoid network congestions.

@everyone Some updates

Mining reward drop

According to our monetary policy, the mining rewards for Ubiq will drop from 7 UBQ per block to 6 UBQ. Kris has written up this article: https://blog.ubiqsmart.com/mining-reward-reduction-scheduled-for-block-716-727-aa24729e9be8

Full Noder

The Full Noder is going along really well. Many community members have started up SBC nodes which is great. Mentioned recently in #ubiq-miners: We went below 100 nodes showing up in the stats site after the hard fork (some pools didn’t upgrade) but now we are back over :100:.
Ubiq was always designed with node resources in mind. Not all chains can run happily on a RPi.

Thanks to @dogedoggerton for running a giveaway of a RPi3 on Twitter.

A recently updated article from @matt https://blog.ubiqsmart.com/ubiq-nodes-on-raspberry-pi-v2-676539b9ed75 as well as a new guide for installing and running Gubiq using Supervisor https://blog.ubiqsmart.com/upgrading-your-ubiq-node-with-supervisor-a1ed379b62d1

 Augmentum

The Ubiq community has created the Augmentum Incubator Program - An incentive program which encourages and assists token teams in swapping their token to the Ubiq network.

https://blog.ubiqsmart.com/augmentum-59a1aedcacb9

Cryptopia

Sadly Cryptopia has suffered a security breach with loss of funds. Investigations are currently happening so I won't add anything speculative.

Cryptopia has been a strong supporter of Ubiq and the crypto community. Their in-house token (as well as others) DOT runs on Ubiq.

A reminder to only keep "what you are willing to lose" on exchanges and 3rd party services. Ubiq and Ubiq tokens work with the leading Ledger and Trezor hardware wallets. Here is a guide: https://blog.ubiqsmart.com/ubiq-trezor-a-quick-guide-daa3003d55f6

On some positive news, the addresses for the main Ubiq and Ubiq token funds on Cryptopia have not moved so it is likely they will not be effected by the breach.

Sorry Lucas I don't understand your question.  There are instructions for claiming on the Escher page if you want further instructions.  https://ubiqsmart.com/escher/airdrop/0x0ab4ab630841f93ba2cc588db4a7e646a38b58ed
