the biggest advantage is that you can mine ubq with ethereum graphic cards (for example 2gb ram) for 6 years.
and the network is much safer because of the flux difficulty that has been added to the algorhythm.
it has a well known team (julian yap bittrex developer) and its a long term coin (swap from jumbucks)

jumbucks was one of there very few successfull altcoins in times where altcoins were dry and only bitcoin ruled and it existed a very long time.
ubiq is one of the good ones not just an altcoin.

and also why? because ubq had a fair launch with no premine or icos same as jumbucks and thats the reason it should be worth more.
its already great that ubq is in top 100. the price 1,5 is still very profitable to buy. it has 30m coins and the prize can go up easily.

me for myself i speculate for 5 dollars after the next drop. its also good that there are many miners keeping the network strong.
it should be worth its money and not just be a speculation object like bitcoin with its 3 day transactions.

thanks for the heads up!

why Ubiq instead of Ethereum? there are some simmilarities on the projects, right?

Lemme get this straight.
Ubiq is a Ethereum competitor... that runs/based on Ethereum?
Kind of hard to sell.

It doesn't run on Ethereum, its code is based on it and improved from there.

Ubiq is the next $400++ protocol coin out there, many people still can't realize that, but when they wake up this project will explode to category Lunar Smiley
Very bright future indeed, and so few coins in existence it is a mind boggling we have been around $1 for so long! Yet i still remember eth been around $0.40-$1 for over a year,so price won't be a issue very much longer..

Hi guys, I'm a miner and new to UBIQ, Im having troubles mining on ubiqpool.io. I really want to mine there, because its one of the biggest pools, meaning regular rewards. Been mining there for 4 hours and no immature balance, all my workers are showing.
I cant seem to find any telegram group, or facebook page or anything to speak to fellow miners of the group for advice. Do you guys know where i can contact mining pool members or submit a ticket, or anything?

Hmm strange, I mine there as well and never had any issue.
Can you post a screenshot taken from ubiqpool.io where can be seen your workers and balance?

Due to massive troubles with eu.ubiqpool.io (3digit pings are normal, but today since evening partial 100% losses of testpings too) i switched to ubiqpeon (located in germany, really low ping times, also the miner submits shares way faster) and have the same issue.

The rig is running and submitting, but no balance is shown :/ (runs on pool a couple of hours)
Will wait till tommorow morning. Strange, because i get stats and the miner also reports submitted shares.

:edit:
Ok, my fault. After modifying the bat file the stats came.
Must say i'm really dissapointed cause after 5 hours and a bit of math ubiqpool is producing/getting more milk.
So i swiched back again, have tripple digits share times, but a testping seems to be ok now (no more losses and ok ping respones)

Hey guys.. hoping someone can help me out because I can't figure it out. On my 8 x 1060 rig.. I have 6 cards doing ETH + Decred and today switched 2 of the cards for UBIQ. I used -di to specify which cards for ETHMiner64 to use. I switched the port on the second instance of ETHMiner so they don't conflict but it continuously crashes. It finds a couple shares and quits. Is there something I'm doing wrong or can you not run two instances of ETHMiner split amongst the coins like I have?

Will this coin go up in the near future?

If yes - why ?

- eth is goin pos in the future and this coin is a advanced eth fork
it has a great niche for mining pow with 6 years health for eth graphic cards
- quarterly report will come out soon
- signum is getting released with the quarterly its a hardware authentificator
- qwark burn next week this token concentrates on the business kryptotech (making creditcards and stuff)
- maybe exchanger listing on binance.com
- with 30m coins a "bit" volatile what is a good sign of prize raise
- pretty old coin with the jumbucks aspect
- still a cheap one can rise alot with its 1,5$

it can be a big one

So i tried to start to mine ubiq. I am using the ubiq pool and claymore.  I copied the bat from ubiq pool and added wallet address and the lines you need for nivida cards. When i go to open the bat file. The command window opens and shuts super fast. I don't even have time to see what it says. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Still kinda new to minning learning the ropes. Maybe i missed something.  Also tried a bat file from a guy on youtube. Does the same thing. What am I doing wrong. I set virtual memory to 16000 as it says to do in the read mefile as well as restarted the rig. Thanks to anyone that can point me in the right direction.
