yeah so just to clarify, the algo will not be ProgPoW. We will be going with a modified version of ethash where we swap out keccak-256 and keccak-512 with different, well tested and secure hashing functions. So we keep the DAG system, break compatibility with the bitmain ASICs, and most importantly, break compatibility with the currently available ethash rentals.
the spec will be released once we have everything ready and tested, as we dont want to release a spec, and then end up making minor tweaks as multiple versions of the spec will cause confusion and possibly result in broken implementations by 3rd parties (if they integrate from an earlier spec)(edited)
its unlikely we will make any changes as what we have currently is working great, but better to be safe

Recently, the whiteblock's Test As-a-Service Team has conducted the test on the platform and benchmark UBIQ's difficulty algorithm against Ethereum's.

The results is fairly good as in higher gas limit, UBIQ's uncle rate is 90% lower than the Ethereum's. But the UBIQ cannot tolerate higher degree of network latency....

There is only one market which is on the ERC20 exchange.  There is little volume as the coin is not intended to be a listed token and listing support is not provided via development.  There are a few people doing OTC trades but please be careful if you are to go down that route.

That question makes a few assumptions and also jumps to technically incorrect conclusions. Any ASIC would need to be purpose built

ethash uses keccak-256 and keccak-512 internally, we are moving away from keccak.

The 1.5.13 release had a bug in reading transactions. Please upgrade to version 1.5.14 if you installed 1.5.13. If you are running a node which relies on archival transactions, please re-sync from scratch.
