You are talking about blockchain.info. Blockchain.info is not the same as the Bitcoin blockchain, which is what he is talking about. They are two very different things. Blockchain.info is a service, not the blockchian.

IMHO = unless you actually need the core wallet to work with it is outrageous the size requirements to hold the big chain. there are so many reputable online wallets or other sources for holding the coins securely
