Are they such a thing? I have not found anything even close to it.
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Would you trust a random widget to hold funds for you?

I would be very careful. Atleast on these forums you can pick an escrow with a solid reputation.

there is something close to what your looking for! its a regular WP plugin and it is un maintained for about 2 years now! and i would also have to agree i would not trust a plugin to hold funds for any reason or any amount even if only trivial!

Just look what i use to sell my breaking bad guide, maybe you will decide to use same method.
Maybe your buyers will trust to buy from autoshop without escrow if you have reputation and good reviews in the listing?

Sounds like a good idea, but I had rather direct my visitors to an off site escrow. Trusting some one who runs a widget with escrow fund is a scary idea to me.

Indeed trusting a not transparent site now is so scary. You don't know if it will be process or they will run with your money.

Yeah thats reckless. I mean good escrow is really hard to provide, and its not in a form of widget. There is no way to such service be reliable, trustworthy and free.
