How to spot a gambler addicted?

It's very easy to spot an addicted gambler.

1. If he can't stop talking about his losses, wins and always want to recover them.
2. He can't sleep because of his losses.
3. He can't live a day without gambling.
4. He will do everything just to gamble if he runs out of funds.
5. He is greedy.

If my list isn't enough and still miss a lot, just add some.

That was a good points but i can say simply the one who get addicted always want more to play no matter they have lost a lot.
An addict itself defined as someone who cannot stop do something / too much doing it.
An addict or not in gambling there a lot of similarity , sometimes people who really make gambling as a way to have fun looks addicted but they are not, we cannot 100 percent judge on something like this.

Those things mentioned are main things you can spot on a certified gambling addict and i cant think anything which arent listed at all.People do easily fall into addiction specially to those people who are greedy because we do all know gambling does make you instant and easy money and most of them dont minding if they lose or not as long they can able to play and fill out their satisfaction.

Yeaaa for that easy money making reason people keep coming back to gamble and it was addiction actually.
People who get addicted always feel they will win someday.
And that what makes you can not stop , because you always following your delusional thought about you will win.

For example, i don't play a lot or for long time (i play games spot during my free time), so i have no idea about, but i trade forex all day and when i had a significant  loss i usually turn off my Pc and i go out for a drink , just for not run behind loss.

Here it remains more better to leave the gambling by making himself busy in another serious thing , Because I already was addicted , now about 1 month happened  and not made any gambling , I remain always busy in the trading at Poloniex and bittrex and taking my eye attention at every possible altcoin to make profit .
That is really a hard-working​ job for me and that helps me lot to keep himself away from Gambling .

I think the best way to spot it, is to listen to what you close friends and family have to say about it. Sometimes players are so addicted that they don't even notice, that their lives had change a lot. Like spending much more time in gambling and having no interest from other activities that they use to like before.

Well you can still consider him as an addict since he has some sort of habit he can't break like this. He still thinks that gambling is part of his life and he need to work for him to gamble something. That's part of being an addict, but it is just a low form, I think. Maybe he should just set some sort of limit instead.

Cannot live without gambling. Even if you say no he/she would go and gamble.
Will ask for money since certainly after certain point if they are in loss they would ask money from others.
Will not be able to sleep properly anytime in the day/night.

yes he is having the habit to gamble without any break it does not mean that he is addicted if he can give time to his other activities of his life and if he is not wasting his time which he require to give to his daily job while if someone do not think about these other activities of the day then we call them as addict.

Most addicts are just happy for a few days, but then their faces turned into a bit pale at thought to cover the resulting losses.

Addiction in terms of not being able to earn or provide a living for their self and family is really not a good thing, but there are some who are really making gambling as they were for living ,no matter how they do that if it helps them and gives benefits to them then that's fine but if they  already doing all the things enumerated above then they are certified addicts that needs counseling and realization in life.

You got the point and also i think you can determine he is either  addicted or not if he can be satisfied what they had or even they are lose they can be satisfied.. most of the people or gamblers are lose due to greediness if they are made profit and greed you will endup losing that can push to deposit that we can consider as addicted .

the addicts not only play all the time on online ga,bling sites but the addicts are also found in real casino so if a person do not stay waked all the night and gamble then they may also be the addicts as they will go out side to any real casino and they will spend most of the time of their day or night in any real casino.

Correct, but there are many other factors. One of them is the time you spend playing and if that disrupts your other activities and chores. If you play an hour a day before going to bed it's perfectly normal, but if it takes you 4 hours each day, you might have a problem. It's also important that you can function without being able to gamble. If taking away your access to your casino for a few days makes you uncomfortable, it's time to start thinking about a treatment.

Gamblers can become so addicted to the game and the hope to win it all back that they fall into ever-deeper financial, social, and professional trouble. Everything about their lives gradually revolves around and is affected by gambling. It puts their families, friendships, studies, jobs, and future career prospects at risk.Like someone who has drugs or alcohol problems, problem gamblers have to up their “dose” of gambling to enjoy it. In other words, they have to bet more and more money to get the kind of rush they want. Unfortunately, the more they bet, the more they lose.

In my view an addicted person can be easily found. Because whatever the conversation you make with them finally at some point they'll be coming and standing at their own subject. With gambling addict people this will be all about gambling and when it comes to other forms of addiction they end up on their own subject such as drinking, alcohol, etc..
