YEs. Would be great. This dev is very active, considering the lack of activity and low volume. Other coins have had issues with dev leaving which completely destroys price. It is reassuring that you are so active. I am considering buying more. I think I could be more active and I will be once I get things moving and we are out of the current situation. Ill be around tthough, no matter what happens.

UPDATE
I was ready to move for the swap. Sent a couple of email to exchanges didnt hear back (which I expected). However the miners have gone over the max limit of 40 million coins I created so I have no option but to create the genesis block again. Sorry about that I will get on to the new creation asap. But this also has me thinking that 42 million coins isn't really enough for widespread distribution which is what I intended. I think the project needs more than 42 mil coins approx so I want to put this out there and see what some others think. What if the swap was a 2 for 1 deal. You have 10k coins in the exchange and you recieve 20k. Would that be a bad thing to do?

Congrats Dev on your work, bit by bit I think you will make marx coin a success. As you said before if value can rise with stability then you can use some funds for online wallet and PR of course. I'm quite sure I'm not the only that see's that Marx coin is undervalued currently. 🙂
I will make sure this coin rises (once we are out of the dirt) Im also thinking about a slight rebranding removing Karl Marx and positioning the project more toward classic liberal ideals. I think we may have some scaling issues with Marx as the project icon. The name of the coin is fine though.

can't wait to start staking this bad boy after the swap goes down.
yes, and with me having to create a new Genesis I can also make sure the POS rewards are super worthy. I tried with the previous version I just created and despite my best efforts I wasnt accumulating much POS coins. I can hopefully address that this time with the new creation.

Hi Dev. Don't coin swaps typically reduce the amount of coins? I think the project needs more than 42 mil coins Why do you think that? Will unswapped coins be burned? Or will the old chain still function? Also, I believe to do a swap, Cryptopia will require a relisting. Which is a significant amount of money right now. So I am thinking that MARX would end up on another exchange. Or do you know how to do it so that doesn't happen? You could do the swap on Nova, but this would end up losing Cryptopia. Just some thoughts. Also, I agree with losing the MARX positioning.

did miners go over the limit just recently and if so how much is produced from pow? Could probably check the op to find that out, but I'm pretty lazy. If exchanges are taking their time you might have to keep going over the limit over and over again depending on how long they take to swap but it is up to you. I'm more in favor of less coins especially if pos reward is going to be generous. A coin count can increase fast depending on the staking reward. Good staking in itself can almost be like having a masternode. So my vote is for best pos reward possible if you want to increase the number of coins and have it reduced after a certain period of time. Don't know how hard this would be to do, but just a suggestion. Have coins for the swap regardless and will be around for whatever you decide.

Just some thoughts. Also, I agree with losing the MARX positioning. Typically its a 1 for 1 basis but Ive seen swaps that double the amount. Can't recall seeing a current supply coin reduced. If I am to secure a wide distribution for the coin outside the Crypto scene 40 million is probably not enough. I understand that traditionally a scarce coin can be good for price but in this case I dont think it would make any difference. Consider the available supply of coins like ETH, Waves, Ripple etc which are in the billions compared to this coin. One person could end up owning 50% of Marx coins which might not be advantageous for the rest of us. The exchanges simply need to swap the wallets and all accounts (Marx) are swapped over to the new blockchain.

Current supply is 40502440.00000000 If it could be swapped over in a day or two then it would be fine. The extra would be made up from the premine development fund. But, I think by the time the exchanges got around to the swap that number could be 42 million and I wouldnt have enough coins for development. I currently have around 4.2 Million for that and based entirely on a hunch I think I will need 3 million to pay for stuff. Im even happy to put those in to Escrow until they are needed. No way is any of this a ploy for personal gain. Im a socialist, I share stuff This is what I would do. Scrap the newest blockchain. Create new POS coin 90 million. Easily enough for over mining and covers all holders and provides them with X2 of their balance at the time of the swap. Or if there is no X2 I would create 45 million. Again more than enough to cover all holders and whatever is left they would be destroyed. If it were to happen this second I would need exactly 40502440.00000000. With hindsight I realise now I created to few coins. Lesson learned.

Announcement Hi folks. As some of you know I created a new POS coin and the intention was to have the coin swapped. That can't happen now. I contacted the exchanges but heard nothing back so from that alone I wasn't able to initiate the swap. Then the miners mined heavily and went above 40mil coins I created for the swap. Will now have to let the coin go through the process of POW. Lets keep in mind 40 mil wasn't enough for the coins global supply so its no bad thing we allow the mining phase to continue. Once that has completed I would have to switch the coin to POS anyway. if the exchanges got back to me I think it would have happened but I didn't want to push them to hard in case they decided to delist the coin for some reason. Long haul guys.

Strong buy support, its clear people want in & they want in for a reason. Patience

I've been buying up this coin but so have others. Why else would someone have orders in for over a million on both exchanges. Problem is I'm not getting enough sells*hint* Traders are holding on to them and as there isn't a large supply we are only seeing miners sell probably to recover costs. Continue the mining phase and when the time comes this coin will work out well for holders.

I think the swap has been cancelled but that's a good move.
