This is really a good idea to pay your bills at the restaurants in the form of bitcoins rather than paying with your paper money. Unfortunately, there is no such kind of restaurants right now in my country which is giving this kind of facility to the owners of bitcoin. That is great news! However, more establishments are yet to discover the convenience of accepting bitcoin. Imagine going shopping and gambling in casinos without actual money in your pocket. I haven’t heard of any place here in my country that accepts bitcoin as payment. On the other hand, the popularity is increasing by the day, so I guess it’s bound to happen soon.

Lol, I find this idea very interesting, because now everyone has a smartphone, very few people bring a lot of money when go out. lots of european countries heavily accept Bitcoin, and I guess most restaurants accept too, specially among countries like Netherlands, but I don`t know if there is a similar map for the Europe

That's what I also heard in Europe and Australia too were most of their merchant outlet there was Bitcoin accepted, whether it is restaurant, coffee shop or fine dinning restaurant something like that. But here in my place no, we only have few of them only.

This is great news. However I have a question - how will the restaurant hedge against the highly volatile bitcoin ? will menu prices go up and down  +/- 20% every month ? How will their customers react ?

I has never been at all when I'm hungry and want to buy food, but I don't have the cash and try to buy food with bitcoin I have. This is certainly really interesting, and it makes it easier for Bitcoiners to get food without cash and can be bought with Bitcoin directly. I want to feel that, but in the region where I live where the government still hasn't legalize bitcoin as a means of payment, it just seems I can't to feel like it yet.

Sorry bro there is no restaurants accepting bitcoin directly as their payment. I am waiting for that day and I believe and confident more about the day of accepting bitcoin in all places including all retailer. what I observe is bitcoin users and awareness of bitcoin is getting increased more and more so in near future it is possible every where we can see the bitcoin users.

What difficulties are you mentioning? I only few of them and it's the very popular problems that everyone is dealing with. And we can actually use bitcoin with different transactions and today with almost everything and thanks to the pizza man that was started it all. Now the price is now getting higher and higher as the hard fork comes and this year is near to end, maybe next year there will be some restaurants that will be on news that are starting to accept bitcoin.
