Do we need to make a group fund to get it listed on Cryptopia? Seems they cost about a bitcoin.. Maybe it can be scraped together.

Sounds like a good Idea.
Could you work along with Skidog to arrange it.
I will contribute 20% of the total cost to have XQN listed on any and all exchanges.

Hello guys.
I have a problem with connecting to the network with quotient-qt. Using Windows 7 (64 bit).
Downloaded blockchain files, replaced them in Appdata folder, made quotient.conf file:

server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
addnode=>insert IP address<

Have used addresses from https://www.coinexchange.io/network/peers/XQN

Still no block importing no connection. I have done before same with clam and hyper coin on the same laptop and OS, no problems at all. Can you please suggest something, what should be checked?
Thank you.

Thank you for reply.
Changed nodes.
I found that blk001.dat was blocked because came from another computer, unblocked it. Checked other files for same issue.
But finally it is the same, no connection.

-snip-
Is your quotient.conf file a capital Q? Mine is, I'm not sure if it matters but you can try.

Change name of quotient.conf to Quotient.conf, and use skidogs nodes.

Yes, I have done it as well. In Documentation default name is not capitalised, but with Q it still does not connect=)
Maybe I need to try it on another laptop.

Did you try your other computer? I wonder if it is a problem with windows firewall.. Did you not allow it to communicate with private/public networks? (again, I don't know if that's important or matters, just an idea.)

Otherwise try removing everything (after backing up your wallet) and try a fresh install and sync from the bootstrap?

Sorry, I hope you can figure it out.

Just a little update.
- We will get a donation address up soon. (24hrs) Waiting for wallet to sync up

- We will use these funds to for development and new exchanges.

- We can not do this alone. Any help would be appreciated.
