I think its obvious where the balance of power lies here...Tariff on mexican car parts, and modification to NAFTA will leave mexico.....broken.  You will have a massive devaluation of currency eventually if all hell breaks loose between the two countries.  They can't really count on the oil money anymore unless the price goes way up.  So Mexico will have to compromise.  I think the wall is going to be there because the outcome of these policies will be increased poverty and increased emigration from mexico.

I dont know if anyone realizes this, but car parts are big business.  For example, take an alternator.  Used to be made in michigan, now in some shit hole in mexico (sorry but its true, its a shithole, with a protected industrial sector).  The price the car company sells the alternator to Ford/gm whatever is pretty much the same, maybe a bit lower, but instead of paying american workers a decent wage, benefits, and retirement, they pay poor mexicans literally dollars a day.  These people live in places where they dont even have reliable electricity, let alone proper drinking water access.  They are trained to do specific jobs and they do it well.  Its not their fault, but they are exploited.  The wall is not for now.  The wall is for what will happen next.  Be right back, gonna go watch escape from LA again not that its super relevant...

Just admit it. The Mexican government is waging a war against the drug cartels for almost a decade now, and the situation hasn't improved a bit. Well that former Mexican president is one truly intelligent guy, he got better plans than trump -_- i mean really his one really good president trump only thinks about what is the outside problem of the country he wasn't even looking at the inside -_- trump really needs to be wise and think of his decision and that expense of the wall will cost american's really big tax for it and some are working hard for their family then big tax is coming they won't be left for them to enjoy their money -_-

You are not right. Taxes America gets from the income of the Corporation Ford. Cars are sold worldwide in dollars, and the income returned to America. If the demand for dollars in the world will fall, the Americans will be severely hit.

Actually...that's true in theory...But in practice, the money stays offshore.  If they bring back the money, they have to pay taxes on it.  So they accumulate it offshore waiting for a moment where the gov will be desperate and say we wont tax that money lol

Smuggling has been and always will be. No wall will not help to stop her. Trump wants an easy way to solve a difficult problem. Or he doesn't know what he's doing or he wants to make money on the construction of the wall

I wonder what Trump would do if the wall of the migrants will cross on a hang glider or by digging? Drug smuggling can be carried out using drones. Why spend so much money on something that is not needed?

Well that former Mexican president is one truly intelligent guy, he got better plans than trump -_- i mean really his one really good president trump only thinks about what is the outside problem of the country he wasn't even looking at the inside -_- trump really needs to be wise and think of his decision and that expense of the wall will cost american's really big tax for it and some are working hard for their family then big tax is coming they won't be left for them to enjoy their money -_-
