Trump and the Republicans are hypocrites...more each day. Trump does not do what he says, let me provide some examples:

• He once said that the CIA couldn't be trusted, however this week he said he loves the CIA
• He once claimed Obama was abusing his power by issuing Executive Orders, yet Trump has issued more Executive Orders this week than Obama
• He declared that muslim immigration should be halted, but hasn't applied that Executive Order to immigrants coming from countries where he has business dealings (Saudi, UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan, etc.)
• He said he'd "drain the swamp" but has filled his cabinet with friends and family, most of whom are billionaires
• He said he would fund his own campaign, yet he accepted loads of donations
• He originally said he was for the withdrawal of troops in Iraq, until Obama made the same decision and Trump infamously insisted we must stay

I could share more.

Majority of these immigrants are dependent on nothing more than a community that's not in the middle of war.

Life will be worse under Trump. Especially when he starts taxing all the imports Americans buy...the middle-America folks that voted for him won't be able to afford anything anymore (and they still won't have their jobs).

Individuals should be allowed to accept refugees at their own expense and responsibility. The sponsor pays the entire cost of resettlement along with upkeep costs, and if the refugees are found guilty of any wrongdoings, their sponsor is also guilty of the same wrongdoings, until the time that the refugee is able to pay their own way and become a productive member of society through normal immigration procedures.

That is solely why Trump freezes immigration. Since it is costly, imagine a country using the public tax to be spent on alien immigrants and in huge value. If those funds are spent on welfare then the public tax will really play its role. Its not bad to cater immigrants but a huge number of immigrants to be supported by the government is too much. Probably Trump wanted to establish more policies to uplift the economy before accepting immigrants.

Yes.. it is complex. If the Americans refuse to sanction funds to Pakistan, then the other super-powers (especially China and Russia, may be Iran as well) will move in to fill the void.
