I am just new to mining. I started with mining Lunacoins and it was working without any issues. After that I though of mining zcash with nheqminer 0.5c, but it does not seem to mine or use my cpu at all. If I add -t command, then it crashes. Really don't know where I am wrong. Do I need to place nheqminer in specific folder. I am using jaxx wallet for storing zec.

My computer specs:
OS: Windows 7 64bit
CPU: intel i5-4440
RAM: 6 GB
Hardisk: 1TB HDD
GPU: none

When I use the command: nheqminer -l zec-apac.suprnova.cc:2142 -u siddartha.sid -p xx
It shows:

When I use the command: nheqminer -l zec-apac.suprnova.cc:2142 -u siddartha.sid -p xx -t 3
It shows:
And crashes

I really don't know where I am wrong. I tried with flypool also, but same issue. I wrote: nheqminer -l asia1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -u t1XefhR44q2xmFmghPEqQU1PGZHcPeKnSx2.tt

Please help me in this regard.
Thanks

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

siddartha1492, try to add an option -e 1
This disables AVX2 and enable only SSE2 and AVX. On my CPU with AVX2 miner crashes too.

Thank you, thank you so much UnclWish. Although -e 1 did not work for me, but -e 0 worked!

Now I have to see the GPU problem. I have this GPU: Asus EAH5450 SILENT/DI/512MD2(LP)

When I run it, it shows Open Cl error 0 #101 - - 61. Then it shows 0 h/s. Any idea how to get rid of it?

If I was to guess, I would guess that the Radeon 5450 is simply too old.  I don't believe it is supported.

Hmm, you might be right. This could be the reason.

I know you said that the -t command crashes, but what happens if you type this:

Code:
nheqminer -l zec-apac.suprnova.cc:2142 -u siddartha.sid -p xx -t 3 -od

Note, the -od at the end.  I use that in mine for Suprnova with no issues.  Other than that, I'm fresh out of ideas.  You can try asking here:

Good luck.
