I remember that I was so nervous when I sent my first transaction from my desktop wallet. I wasn't sure about the fee, I was afraid it was so low that I won't get any confirmations and my transaction will be in limbo forever. I didn't want to pay 20% fee on a small transaction (the amount my wallet suggested me to pay), so I lowered it to 5%. You can imagine how happy I was when I received over 60 confirmations within one or two hours and my payment was accepted within tens of minutes.

Oh well, my first bitcoin transaction was a success, I follow each step that I read in google... If I remember correctly the second transaction that I made was from Land of Bitcoin that time, which lately close and then faucetbox... But at first I really feel excited, and double checking the address if I write it correctly ( I really mean I check each letter and number ) to be sure... After receiving it, I just want to keep on doing it if I have an amount until I learned that the price keeps on moving up and down, so I decided to send bitcoin atleast 2 weeks or more...

Were you filled more with happiness, excitement or fear when you clicked that 'send' button? And in which year was it when that happened? Did it it turn out just fine, did your transaction arrive where intended?
I couldn't remember tho, as the first time i starts to use bitcoin is like 2 years ago i suppose. As compare to online banking where you xfer the $$, it is immediately xfer but bitcoin is a different level thing. Tbh, when the first time i sent i do feel unsafe because remember, there's no way for you to revert a transaction once you sent the money out, that's the fear whenever i sent btc to address of people.

I still remember it clearly the first time I sent a bitcoin to my bitcoin address , Actually It is not big ,it is more or less 0.001 which is the minimum payout in the faucet website I get into ! There is a big excitement in me when I first sent that to my address I thought I am going to be rich later did I found out that I didn't even earn half a dollar on my 3 months job thru faucet well it didn't stop me there until I found out about bitcointalk and earn a decent amount of bitcoin every week !

It was a mix between excitement and a big fear! The excitement was obvious, because it was my first crypto currency transaction and I felt like a part of something bigger. The fear was exactly because of the same reason like yours, because when you do a mistake, you can't take it back.

Yes I remember clearly as it was a good learning curve at that moment. For my first transaction I bought a coin, pretty huge for just testing it out now that I look back at it. I checked everything multiple times, like reading the whole address and so. New to this I figured out it would take approximately 10 minutes before I got my coin as the average blocktime was 10 minutes. So I waited 10 minutes.... nothing.... waited some more.... nothing.... started sweating and recheck the address in my wallet and on the site I bought it, they were the same. was I scammed? still waiting... nothing... Something wrong with how do you call it the blockchain? browsing... no news still waiting... confused... Did I do something wrong? still waiting.....
it took 97 minutes before next block was mined... and immediately i had my coin in my wallet... sigh the longest 97 minutes in my btc experience. Ok I had to wait longer on confirmations but back then I didn't no anything, so yeah I will never forget my first transaction.

Do you remember what it felt like the very first time you sent out a Bitcoin transaction to another address in your life? For some, it might have been an easy thing to do, especially for the geeks who were here when Bitcoin was born and it had not been valued and traded against fiat currency as following soon after, yet for others it can be very confusing to get things right.

The first time I made the transaction was the year of 2013 in the beginning . My whole earning was from the faucet collection from freebitco.in . This site was very famouse at that time when the site was paying most then I entered in the bitcoin. , because at that time the price was very low but 1/3 of the current price . When I send it for the fiat from the the person then he said that this is very low amount And I can't give you money in bank you can make recharge of mobile top up . At last e made a recharge of 2$ . That was a feeling of doing something strange than other in my community but still I was in fear that to sell bitcoin is a very hardworking job .

Yes! I cannot forget the first time I sent a bitcoin transaction because I was scammed that time! I joined something that we called "Online Paluwagan". It is a first in, first out kind of thing! At first, I'm receiving my payment but after a few transactions, the business has turned closed and the owner ran away with all of our money! Cursed them!

Feel sorry for you bro I was in the same situation too but it was not my first time making a bitcoin transaction, which was when my friend introduced me of bitcoin and I bought a small amount of bitcoin and try sending him some. I've lost some of my bitcoin into the hand of these scam sites and yeah, the same thing happens over and over again, they ran away with my money and after many of being fooled, I've learned the lesson.

The possitive thing about your very negative experience is, that you obviously didn't loose your faith (or at least interest) in bitcoin. Many of us came in touch with some kind of scam sometimes (me included), but we should take it as a lesson for a future.

Well the very first time that I have tried the transaction with bitcoin I felt like I have accomplice something big that is the most satisfying experience that I ever felt in my life, but after that it is just very common now and a transaction with the paying bills part was a very forlorn part that I have made, but yeah it will always began in the first time that you have no knowledge over it!

I remember it vividly. Here's how it goes: I decided to invest my precious btc to a btc investor site. Got their wallet address and then I click "send". My btc then went to 0. After a few minutes I checked my account in the company and still it's still not credited. I got nervous and then doubts sets in. Waited a few more minutes and still not there so I panicked and don't know what to do and its already like 1:00 am our local time however I can't sleep because I don't know what happened. However, I decided to check blockchain.info to see what going on. Only that time that I understand that I have to wait for few more minutes or hour to get my btc to my btc invest account. So I took a nap and then viola, it was already there. I was so happy then so the next time I try to send, I just stay patience and not worry about it like I did the first time.

It was around 2015 end I assume(I wish I am not wrong) I felt that I was not doing the right thing and I very so damn nervous that you can't imagine. I was a very tough situation for me and I felt that I am being too much risky with my money. At the same time I was a bit excited too because since the childhood I have been in a habit of taking risks. But when I got them traded and I earned a small amount of profit I was really happy. Since then rest is history I mean I have been kinda addicted to bit coins cause they help me earn a handsome sum of money. So this was the story of my first bitcoin transaction.

I am not sure but I think it was promotional activity by 99bitcoins where they were distributing some satoshis for bitcoin newcomers in order to learn more about bitcoin. I actually sold a domain name before that point in bitcoin but I asked escrow to convert it in USD for me so I missed the bitcoin transaction at that time.
