There was that time I told myself I would never try to gamble. Well, that act of control is one thing a lot of gamblers have failed to do in their years of gambling. Gambling is generally known to come with a lot of impulses which is usually fueled by greed most of the time which we all know is in human nature, and the only best way to deal with it is to control those impulses by controlling yourself and the decisions you make. Maybe the "everything" that you are saying is that you give your money but you lost am I right?? If yes, then you are not the only one. I think we all have experienced this, that feeling of excitement and at the same time anxiety, knowing that you could win or lose at the same time. There is no assurance but just the mystery until it happens. It’s either regret or happiness which you will encounter. I think when your balance is going down, you start to feel scared until you have that winning bet. It’s always like that, just gamble occasionally, that’s my opinion.

Yeah the second one is pretty common. Luckily, I ended up doubling my coins on that accidental max bet. This happens for players when they are playing too much on manual. That might be the reason some popular casinos removed the max bet option recently.

I want to believe gambling can only have effect on one's future if you permit it to have effect on it. Certainly, the way people approach gambling right from the start will depict how they end up their life as a gambler. Either in control of the whole situation or as an addict. The greedy mindset of quite a number of people and the fact that they were busy looking for things where they can't find it, is one of the reasons why they will keep being affected when it comes to gambling.

Yes, it is the greed which make us loss in gambling. I remember a few months ago, i played dice and was winning together few consecutive wins. I was playing with a strategy and keep on investing slowly. Just than greed came in and i invested all my profit at once and lost that on a single dice game.
