Good day sir!
As we know, the Cryptonight V7 hard fork is done and Monero hash rate decreases from 1GH/s to 380MH/s (to date). It means that huge ASIC hash power has been mining Monero all this time. With the removal of ASIC, now mining Monero is much more profitable compared to any cryptocurrencies. It will invite many GPU miners to mine Monero -> receive Monero -> transact using Monero. This is really healthy ecosystem for cryptocurrency! It reminds me of how Ethereum become so profitable to mine thus became #2 Smiley

Now I think Ethereum already full of ASIC mining in the background, and no real effort to remove ASIC from their side. I think ETH price will stale or only have a little growth. And Zcash? no good news also from their side. With new modified cryptonight algorithms (v7, lite, etc.) as the only ASIC resistant algorithm, I believe that Monero and other cryptonight based coin will rise in 2018.

What do you think?
