Bitcoin has always bounced back from any difficulties stronger and reinvigorated. Traders will diversify exchanges and re-adapt to the new ecosystem. Most importantly, the bitcoin market will become more transparent, more stable, less speculative, and better supported by more factual trading volume data.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

The charging of transactions fees by major Chinese exchanges is just the latest episode. The good news is that Bitcoin has always bounced back from any difficulties stronger and reinvigorated. Traders will diversify exchanges and re-adapt to the new ecosystem. Most importantly, the bitcoin market will become more transparent, more stable, less speculative, and better supported by more factual trading volume data.
