This project certainly looks promising! Great work!

If you're doing a pi related coin, why not take a look at what Nexus (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=657601.0) is doing for large prime numbers in their CPU mining software and do something similar for pi? I think that would be awesome (and maybe even useful). The nature and size of the calculations may help making it GPU/ASIC resistant. I'm not a mathematician, but I do know that math on arbitrarily large numbers currently does not play well with GPUs, which is why Nexus chose a different algo for their GPU mining. Besides, calculating the far out digits of pi through mining will easily blow any standing records out of the water and earn you *plenty* of free publicity.

This is a good idea, but i see some problems. Hihering a dev would force us to collect money from the community, even before PI is launched. This would be very mirrored to an ICO, and that's what we don't want to do. There will be some other features in the future (way to early to tell yet) which would/could make PI very very unique and special. But if we say "hey we will have this and this and this and ofc this" it would be like saying "Yes, we will implement everything" and this would be like telling lies. We are honest devs who don't tell any lies or promise something we can't do.

Installation of a built-in ticketsystem to https://picoin.club has been finished. If you want to help test it (i am not sure if this is working as expected ) simply open a testticket. If this ticketsystem is not helpfull or you find it hard to use/open a ticket there will a "real" ticketsystem on the hotwallet server.

So here are some basic informations about the advertisement campaign:
I will use some of my BTC to start a campaign. The campaign will be running for several days. After that i will check if i was able to create more interest in PI. If yes, i will invest some more BTC to start another campaign. The campaign will link to the PiCoins website. If people feel interested, they can visit the bitcointalk.org ANN. Before the campaign will start, i will update the website a bit. Expecially some informations about the signature campaign.
PiCoin will be visible on pages like moonbitco.in and other faucets/bitcoin related pages. I think it is way to early to place adverts on non bitcoin related pages. However, i personally have never seen any new coin advertises on any website i am surfing, but i might be wrong.
Before the advertisement campaign will start, we will need to finish the vote on the logo contest first. The winning logo will be a part of the advertisement. We are thinking about a new community contest: Yes indeed, the creation of the advertisement banner. I will post 3 different sizes for the advert as soon as we have the winning logo
Here it is the same like on everything: I am not collecting any BTC or anything from you, i am investing my own time and money because i want PI to be a good coin
