The reasoning behind this is mainly because of precious metals also being sought after due to the Trump policies not looking favorable in the short term... Not too sure about long as I don't have interest in politics.

At the moment of writing the bitcoin price is $969.99 and I'm happy to see the bitcoin chart increase and green.

While bitcoin price is increasing just check the exchange rate and mostly all coins have negative change but it's not bad at all.

Someone is saying this bitcoin price change is because of Trump, some other because of China, which one is nearer the reality, maybe the fees of chinese exchanges?

There are multiple reasons for the price rise but the single most reason for the current surge in price is because of the uncertainty regarding the US economy and with Donald Trump being the president and his current actions of banning people from several countries and if these sort of policies continues the uncertainty level on what his future blunders will make a difference in the price of bitcoin.

but i think the reason for this is because whales who were shaking out the weak hands and then started accumulating over an stable price of $918is are now done and let loose of their walls. and possibly it is because of a light increase in demand from those who sold before and now have stopped panicking and are buying back in .

We might be able to see the $1000 price again, sooner than expected. When the price pulled back a few weeks ago, I thought we were going to go below $800 and stay there for a while. Now the march towards $1000 is here again. What's the next resistance level, if I may ask?

Until nothing big is getting announced, like an ETF getting approved, or Blocksize debate finally peaceful solved and everybody is hugging each other, I don't see a reason why we should shoot up now without dropping again.

people are investing in bitcoin and they buy and hold it like stocks or shares. the investors don't care about these things!

and these things help the adoption and a huge rise which means going from $920 to $3000 not $920 to $1100

Yup, Its 972$ today. I see that this is healthy price hike bitcoin chart from the last month. I think we gonna mark the highest bitcoin value again in this year like last Christmas pump.  As of now, holding would be the most preferable option for all the people in the forum except traders.

We topped, but this time the price sustains for a long. It won't fall immediately because the price increase did't happen due to the big whales holding and releasing at time to make a big fluctuation. This has happened after a fall, and now regaining potential gradually without the impact of external market and Chinese miners.

Let us see if this price hike can sustain itself. If it holds in this level, maybe we will reach 1000$ within this month. It has been slowly going up since it dropped to 735. where is/was the price $980?

I see only $967 and maximum lower than $980, and for less than 15min

And the volume is back to the pre rise level, so probably there will be some stability, but still too late to see the long term result(price could be stable for only a couple of hours for example)

bitcoin is the future money and a lot of people have invested in it, we all know soon there won't be enough for all of us and today being 1 in a million.
the year before the last it meant with only $4600 you could be 1 in a million.
last year it meant investing less than $10,000
and today it means investing about $20,000 to be 1 in a million.
and this will go on and things will become harder when you get in late.

(in case you didn't know 1 in a million means having 21 bitcoin out of the 21 million max)
