looking to buy 100,000 PASL. we'l agree on price and complete on trade on cryptopia

Best way to deal with this would be to use escrow. Especially if you want to go outside of the market price since there might be iceberg orders on Crytopia.

100,000 PASL is a huge amount considering there is only ~850,000 supply in total.

Ok. I've sent them our API over.

I basically used the form at http://whattomine.com/contacts/new

Hopefully that will get a hold of them.

Would be nice to see "ETH+PASL" profitability

Hey I am seeing wrong results from calculation for the difficulty exposed by the api.

I see that you use a `2^32` multiplier internally, but maybe it should be `2^34` instead?
I base this on the fact that my estimated rewards are around 4 times bigger than in reality.
Calculated for 500Mhash returns 42.3, but in reality I have mined 9.5 on suprnova.

I have taken the default (bitcoin and many algos use this) `2^32` multiplier, cause is fits nethash to diff formula.
`nethash = difficulty * 2^32 / block_time`

Waiting for a response

Edit: Can anyone post their earnings for past 24h with given hashrate? Thanks.
Edit2: Are we 100% sure that nethash isnt in fact 4 times bigger than given by api?

Absolutely correct. Sorry for that, when i copied difficulty calculation algo from my pool to blockchain API i forgot to correct it. Give me some minutes i will fix that.

The root of the problem is that mining software (sgminer, for example) still using 2^32 multiplier even for Pascal algo and i was forced to use that on the pool's side to be able to support that software.

Hey there, thanks for responding. Just wanted to make sure about nethash, as edited on my first post:
`Edit2: Are we 100% sure that nethash isnt in fact 4 times bigger than given by api?`

By doing simple nethash equation:
`coins_per_day = 50 * (24 * 60 / 4) = 18000` - 4 minutes is the current average block_time over last 24h

`coins_per_day * 500Mh / 200_000 Mh = 45` - shouldnt the nethash reported be 4 times bigger as well?

Hm, i had checked all things.

Reply from API:
{"blocks": 17248, "supply": 862400.0, "difficulty": 7499.536796971916, "accounts": 86240, "lastreward": 50.0, "hashrate": 199118504000}

So, difficulty is calculated in Bitcoin terms (2 ^ 32 multiplier). What multiplier do you using on the your side for our algo?
If you will calculate Hashrate using multiplier 2^32, then for diff 7499.536796971916 it will be 107 GH/s for last block.

"hashrate" field exposed by API is an average hashrate of 50 last blocks.

Yep, you should earn about 43.2 PASL per day with 500 MH/s (250.7 sec avg for last 200 blocks right now).

EDIT:
I checked pool stats. Example:
Someone with 333 MH/s earned 21.4007 PASL last day.

EDIT2:
Another one guy with ~700-800 MH/s earned 45.4749 PASL last day.

Hmm so our calculations match (wtm shows about 107 GH/s nethash right now), but somehow I mined on suprnova 4 times less than estimated.
The pools luck was negative, but only 108%. No idea whats causing this.

Could someone else post their 24h earnings, please?

Suprnova found 31 block last day with ~60 GH/s avg speed. So, your estimated earnings should be something about 12.658268 PASL in ideal conditions (i mean that speed estimation is correct and we are measuring day length accurate enough).

What is about pool switching. please don't switch to fairpool permanently, since we have non proportional hashrate now.
It will be the best if you will distribute your hashrate to suprnova after tests.

Why `12.658268 PASL` ? I should be getting the same amount of coins from each pool, given my hashrate is the same on both.
I have switched a second rig to pasl.
Now mining with 540Mhash on suprnova and 490Mhash on fairpool.

Its very hard to estimate suprnova's average hashrate for the last 24 hours. All I have is a graph like this

So lets say average hashrate is ~250GHS, and they had ~60GHS. So they should of found ~70 blocks but only found ~30 according to the block stats. Could be very bad luck day.

Post your results after 24hours from mining on both pools and we will see what we get.

EDIT: I noticed that the hashrate went up exponentially on fairpool and suprnova just now. I think people are "pool hopping" basically. Rent hashrate when difficulty is low and stop mining when difficulty is driven up.

Hi!

What makes this coin different from Pascal?

Hi!

What makes this coin different from Pascal?

cleaner code, 3000 lines changed, still more to be done, account trading marketplace, we've just begun.

both are good we won't comment on which is better but we have currently released alot more. just see current supply versus pascal and compare marketcap. so to a investor it is very attractive.

team is working hard pasc and pasl will flourish together
