I just wanna know if you guys are supertitious when playing or gambling?

I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino.
1. I choose the number of parking slot that I will park. Usually it should have my favorite number 111,777 etc.
2. I don't want to wait for someone if he or she is going to go with in the casino.
3. I wear the same shirt that I won big.

And a lot more..

I really don't believe in superstitious beliefs because what matters most with me is luck and on how I'm doing well. So if I'm gambling and I'm doing pretty well then there's any ritual to be lucky it just comes out suddenly. But I admit that I was once a superstitious believer and I realized that it is just a crap made by our ancestors.

Oh yeah, I do believe in superstition if I'm going to gamble. And what I do is before I gamble, I do often check the newspapers about horoscope. If my zodiac sign says that I'm very lucky for this day then I will going to be confident and will gamble all day long and if they it says that I'm not lucky or don't go outside, then I won't.

Yes i believe that. Only when play lottery. I play every sunday lottery. Must know 6 numbers in 49 numbers. My luck number is 13. Always play for it. Other 5 numbers pick daily events. When see a good car lookin its plate. If there is number under 49 bet it too. Also street numbers, girls t-shirts(with numbers), if i take a good news at 3:27 play for 27, my football team final score. For example monday we beat 5-1 but there is no 51 in lottery so i reverse it 15

I only applied that superstition belief in lottery. I know it's 100% has nothing to do to make me win but it just making me feels excited and thinking Im boosting my chance that I will get a winnings if I do something to make it more luckier. Sometimes the number I chosen really the numbers that I feel Im lucky with it.

In the end, gambling is gambling. Im just doing a nice decoration out of my gambling so that I made a loss not just by betting instantly.

Honestly, I don't believe in anything. When I gamble, I just gamble, I bet when I want to. Even in real life, I don't believe in any superstition. That would just hinder you from moving freely when you keep on believing on things. I see some people that even chooses what dress to wear when they are going to bet, and keeping their very first bet on their step ins, shoes or any footwear.

I didn't use superstition beliefs in gambling.We have our own strategy in playing gambling like you.You are using you superstition beliefs in gambling I hope it works for on you.Gambling is depends in luck if superstition beliefs help to increase your luck why not.

i think all of us have some level of superstition in anything that we do but most of the time it is a very small dosage nothing big or serious like this. for example thinking if i bet 100 times i will lose or changing the seed to something weird to have that word in it but i have never had anything this big like you

No such thing as strategy in gambling.
Superstition and all those strategies/methods to win are just gamblers fallacy where they hope that certain event or things you do will increase your chance of winning.

Nope... I don't believe in any...  In fact for me it just makes me feel nervous when following something in betting... Same as in real life, I find it annoying when someone is telling me to follow this and that and sit here and there and don't do it and do it because that is going to bring you bad luck whatsoever... In short, I don't believe in anything like that...

I have one. Do not gamble when you are drunk, tired or emotional. It's not a superstition per se but it's a rule that we must abide by to save our money. If you are in those stages then for sure you'll be reckless and you will not be able to control yourself, thus losing your money in gambling.

i think it is just a myth and i don't think like that, i think it is not about superstitious in the gambling games but it is about our luck which we should have when we are playing gambling. but another case is when you believe with something then your subconscious will telling you there is a thing that you should obey to win the games like you must use same shirt, have favorite number and else.

If you believe that you can win in gambling because of luck then that is what you need to do. People in my family are too superstitious when it comes to gambling but they are older than me, so I don't blame them if they inherit it from our ancestors. In the present time, it's all about math and the more you are expose to the reality, you will have a greater chance of winning. That's my opinion.

Indeed I used to be superstitious once, but then when I read about gambling fallacy, I change that belief.  I know it is kinda funny but I agree that most of us has/had this kind of attitude. I have proven it wrong because I tried to play without doing all those sort of belief  to boost up that so called luck and the result is the same.

I tried this in the local lotto too, I've been betting on it for several years now and haven't won yet. I use the birthdays of my loved ones and never hit it yet. I don't think it affect the results or anything for that matter, it's just a personal preference and will not give anyone an edge over gambling.

I tried this in the local lotto too, I've been betting on it for several years now and haven't won yet. I use the birthdays of my loved ones and never hit it yet. I don't think it affect the results or anything for that matter, it's just a personal preference and will not give anyone an edge over gambling.

I am superstitious but not in gambling. If I am watching my fav team sports that time sometimes I will be like this. But in gambling I never tried this, even this word does not come in my mind. Now I heard this word might be I may use this method in my next betting I am not sure. This is human nature if anything new comes in our mind we must apply that methods in our next move. Will share my experience later.

i do not believe with supertition even though I live in asia, a country have believe with superstition. everything in gambling it's depend on luck so if you lucky enough, you can win in gambling without do a ritual before you gamble.

Theres no connection between superstition and gambling because it do really matter on your luck. Some may have rituals and do believe on this stuff but for me its still useless at all because no matter how you do or you make rituals on the entire day if your luck isnt there it would be really useless at all.
