Read the Fine Print of Bonuses

Has anyone played at duckdice? Its a nice small site. They offer a great bonus 120% on first deposit.

Any place that offers a bonus normally has a stipulation or play through. Duck dice says 25x times your deposit fairly standard.

However its a lie. It is 25x your playthrough except for the fact that every bet you make only 20% towards toward your bonus amount so you have to play 125x your playthrough.

I.E. I deposited roughly 5.5 LTC I got my 120% bonus as it gets automatically credited. So my play through is 162.5483465 LTC. But because they only count 20% of each bet i actually have to wager 812.7267325 LTC.

On top of that if you fail to wager that much or cancel your bonus you forfeit your deposit on top of that. So if i tried to cancel my bonus i would lose my deposit.........I didn't believe it but i asked the admin. I don't know how to screen shot but this was the convo

I don't know if its above board or not. But its its still shifty imo. Yes i'm partly to blame as i didn't read the fine print but shame on them for not just being up front.






Now for you people that are gonna say something about him losing. You'd be wrong i'm currently up 9 LTC when i am writing this. Now things could change. This is just a warning to others to be careful with deposit bonuses. And to read them esp at a smaller site. I do hope they fix it but they are a smaller site and need to make money somehow. The site is nice over all it is very small.

Until they fix this i would recommend if your going to play there don't do so until they fix it use their faucet only. I don't know if tis is gonna get me in trouble with the site or not. If i manage to clear my bonus without busting and in time i don't know if this post is gonna cause me trouble withdrawing or not. I will keep everyone updated about the progress and if i am able to withdraw if i manage to clear the crazy bonus. I am currently at 4.7%

Well we won't know weather or not I would have had trouble because the bonus was just to hard to clear. Everything was proceeding along nicely until i got to 86%. I was at 30 LTC up 18 LTC then i hit a 100 loss streak at 12x for thoes that are good with numbers thats about a 0.02% chance. I managed to stop it with 9.5 LTC left where i hit another long loss streak shortly after had to stop it again. After that i gave up trying to clear the bonus and yoled what was left on 1.2x twice and lost both.

Unlucky at the end however either bad timing or a coincidence that i was close to clearing bonus before  lost.

My conclusion and warning is its not worth to deposit. Play with the faucet. As the admin says no one give away money for free but 125x is to much to clear i managed to bet all but 100 of the 812 LTC i needed before i busted. Had it been something reasonable I would have cleared it and been raining on the players there as i found rain is nearly non existent.


Duckdice has nice potential to be a very good site but still has some work to do. That is my personal opinion.


P.S. I did learn after it was to late that if you do deposit and cancel the bonus before you bet you still not lose your deposit.
But how they do it is that all profits are added to locked balance while all bets are subtracted from your unlocked bonus until your original deposit is gone. So if I were you i would cancel the bonus right away.

As a final update after talking with the admin they will be making an update and lowering the requirements. Just goes to show they are open to suggestions. They will be posting later after their update is finished.

Happened to me too, found out just some time ago that the amount going towards wagering the bonus amount is only 20% of the bet amount/total wager. Well can't really blame them as
1) If they actually went for 25x wager for bonus and counted 100% towards the wager, they'd be stupid and going into loss pretty quick.
2) Other sites do this as well, every casino site(with multiple games and a deposit bonus) has a different wager % for a different game going towards clearing the bonus. An example of a dice site which does this is cryptogames.io .

Although I have to say, with there being only one game , they should put an asterisk beside the "25x" and explain the exact conditions at the bottom.

Agreed there is no way they could do that with only a 1% house edge, at least not at 25x. They would lose money as people would just play max chance and clear it easy. I think 125x is too high and the admin is updating anyways and making a change in the requirement.

That why i labeled it to read fine print. You have to be careful about bonuses and do your research before you just blindly deposit. This is ment as a warning. in general not just at duckdice.io i've never seen a bonus at cryptogames.io. I agree with you having an asterisk that makes it clear  so someone doesn't feel like they are getting taken advantage off. So they keep coming back.
