the captain of the BOAT is really active, he is very much attentive for every concerns the readers raise on this thread no wonder why this project gain some support even after the giveaways and now that the coin is already listed at the exchanges.

OK but is the old wallet file compatible with the new wallet? If so, isn't deleting just the blockchain data enough?

i dont think there should be any need to do anything other than start the new client,
but i'm not sure what obavijest has done apart from the changes i made.

so
simple way to check Wink
back up your datadirectory,
start new client.

and it's always good to back up things.
says I who has deleted a goodly quantity of coins over time. lol. price you pay for having a serious amount of coin data directories ..

wowsers, i just checked,
i think i need to work out a better system for dev/compiling as i have about 150 data directories atm ...

Yes you really wanna back wallet.dat up likely a few places just lost a good 50$ in random coins not backing up.more then once.

Why?  Those books are not worth the paper they're printed on.

Why what is wrong with them ? You have greater wisedome to share ? I also want these books.

Well your screenshot shows that it is running - can you post your .bat file config?

Now that difficulty has risen, most people find that it is better to mine using a pool, like boat.suprnova.cc

Although some do stick with solo mining in order to get larger block rewards, rather than smaller split up rewards from pools.

What is your video card?

And what sort of CPU do you have, if you don't mind me asking?  Maybe running a CPU miner would work best, depending on your GPU

I know about the pool boat.suprnova.cc, but like in the solo mode, because at the moment the power pool of 85-90 MH / s, I can 40-50 MH / s devices for this mining what I sense in the pool? I want to understand if I set up the solo mode correctly.

Judging from your screenshot, it appears you are solo mining correctly. Have you not found a block yet?

It looks set up fine to me, but can you post the details of your .bat config?  That's the only way to know for sure

Are you running it in the background?  I would keep it running as long as possible, for best chances to find a block Smiley

Soooooooo after doing the calculations

Requesting a listing @ Cryptopia would be ~ .4 BTC (at least) worth of DOT  Shocked

You guys think that sort of price is even worth it right now?  I barely even HAVE .4 BTC - and who knows how the Doubloons market would react to a listing at any particular exchange.  Good thing about Cryptopia is their multiple base-markets, though...

Or risk .1BTC @ YoBit for a premium listing, which could take up to a week.  Only other downside is, well, it's Yobit...lots of shady stuff there.  But we ARRRR pirates....

Anyone knowledgeable about the subject mind sharing some thoughts/experiences/advice?
