Yes the algorithm is easy to mine with the GPU, i pull out like 4.5mh/s with my 1080 GTX. To bad the price is low, maybe with some dedication from the dev and the community the price will go up.

Well I think once the POW ends soon and Boat is fully POS the price might start to go up and even break its ATH as people will then need to buy Boat to start staking. So at this low price I have been stacking as much Boat as I can, for the people mining Boat they can get the best of both worlds by mining and then by earning stakes on the Boat they have just mined. I used to do this very early on when I was mining Boat and now with the stakes that I earned, it has helped build a nice stack of Boat while I wait for the price to increase which I think it will in the long term.

I am fiercely loyal to this coin SincebI first invested on it a few months back. Very dear to me aince this is my first coin that invested with.  Even with the low price, i am confident that with the communities help and the help of the dev this will be a versatile coin. Honestly I like this to be used in some form of currency for digital goods.

When will people understand that there is no connection with anything and price except hype/fud and/or real development leading to reallife usability of the coin? POS or else has no influence on that. POS/MN/TOR or else are just hypes to increase value in short period. But in long term 99.999% of coins will end at 1sat price and 0 volume because thay are just numbers in the wallet. Noone will need those numbers.
5% POS in nothing special. Do you have SIGT - it is also 5% POS - but noone need it now? Most POS coins give the same or more. What else has BOAT to offer?
You can directly buy something for BTC much less you can buy for several other coins but you cant buy anything for BOAT.

I agree that a strategy and concept regarding the usability of a cryptocurrency in general is essential. Future plans/developments are necessary to create a steady project.
Because of the struggles/friction earlier with DBL 2013 (dead coin) the name change and right away a change of concept seems the condition to give BOAT a bright future.

If you study the current possibilities of blockhain technology within the maritime transport industry it seems an outstanding market to be part of.

Boat in its Pirate theme status doesn't add any value and that needs to be changed to give BOAT a prosperous future. 

Therefore a transition would make this cryptocurrency stand out compared to currencies with less or none constructive intentions.

Yes is the same algorithm like Espers and Topaz coin. Is CPU/GPU friendly algorithm, you can mine it even wit your CPU but you won't get too much coins.

This is good to hear and we all know that the Chinese love crypto. So both can work hand in hand, BOAT has a long way to go but with the right people running it, I'm sure we'll do just fine. Also I'm seeing some more people on Twitter taking about BOAT which is great to see as it starts to create a Buzz in the community. We all know that BOAT needs a world use for the coin but I think we are heading in the right direction. It just takes time and we have a lot of it for this project.
