Can we get on the Slack channel? If it's private only, you're missing out on good, positive interaction with your community that can help drive the coin forward... which to me, sounds like a good idea.

How about a telegram group so that all BOAT investors and collectors can also have like an active group there where we can discuss ideas and be able to support each other. You all want a community? Why not start in Telegram.

The community has started a Discord already and invited the Devs to come several times. About 65 people have come to check it out with 10-15 online at any given time. Several of us have skills that could be beneficial to the coin's progress and that skill and enthusiasm remains untapped, despite reaching out to the Devs.

Good to see Boat holding up in price, I read on another thread that Nova is coming back and will keep the coins on there which is good news for Boat as then we'll have a few exchanges to trade on. Is the wallet on TradeSatoshi working as I haven't tested it but noticed that Boat is listed on there lol.

Hey Prowe,

I've been in talks with @Sting on discord. He said you've talked with Obavi and he needs some help.

I have started working up the following and will release everything in the upcoming weeks:

- recommended plan of action
- site updates: plan of attack and progress, news feed, contributors page, contact page
- project management system (plan of projects/tasks and track progress, centralization of project data)
- project outline for smart contract system
- sales/advertising/business development recommendations

From there we can get together as a community and finalize how we want to move forward.

If you know any other devs that want to get involved, I'd like to put together a team of at least a few people. Ideally one to work on new wallet releases and troubleshooting and one to work on smart contracts with me. I will be reaching out to a couple of networks I've worked with in the past to see if any have interest.

It seems that Boat has gone back to where it was 6 months ago when I first got into the coin, its dead in here! I have been supporting the coin for a long time now and would really like it to do well. The Twitter account is again inactive like in here, I'm just hoping that the dev is working on the project behind the scenes but an update would be nice every now and then on where the project is at.

We just had a new pool accept BOAT, so that's a good sign.  Maybe your post overlapped his.   It would be great to get a new Dev and recompile it for more POS percentage.  It stakes at such a low rate.  I still think the nautical image of it will be a big seller in years to come.

Yeah true as there isn't many pools mining Boat anymore so its good to see this new mining pool come on board. 5% is low for POS however it is helping keep the inflation under control however maybe the POS percentage could go up a little to say 10 to 15 percent like a lot of other similar POS coins out there. From what I can see there is a lot of people staking Boat as the network weight is high and has been for a very long time now so this sows that there is a lot of support  for the coin when it comes to staking. Now we just need some developments and all should be good here.

Good that there is already a Discord channel or chat group for BOAT  enthusiasts. I really wonder what the dev has been up to for the past weeks. Condensate made waves before so many really are patient to see BOAT really go high seas.

yeah there is a discord channel https://discord.gg/4tegQR - although i am not sure the dev is active there- it was setup by a grwoing community- unfortunatelly it is rather quite these days..lets hope dev is coming with some goood news:)

The good thing with Boat is that the price is holding steady even though not much is going on here. I think once we get some news updates from the dev it can make the price even more stable as it gives people confidence to buy and hold the coin. Not sure what is going on with both projects as we have not heard from the dev in a while now so I hope he is working on the project.
