Yes not long now before mining Boat ends, this could help make the price more stable as people will switch to PoS. This will also keep inflation down as its only 5% APR so hopefully we start to see a steady price and maybe even start to see it rise if the dev comes back and works on the project. |

Well with PoW now over we might start to see the price of Boat stabilise and in the long term start to go up. I think the 5% APR is fine as I believe PIVX also has a 5% APR just as long as the dev comes back and works on the project. Still no word from the dev which is a shame but the loner this goes on the less people will support and stick with the project so lets hope we see him return soon.

Just to let you know mining Boat is now over and its only PoS now until all coins have been mined/minted. If you like to start PoS then all you do is buy some coins and have them sent to your wallet and start staking them to earn staking rewards. You will need to encrypt your wallet with a passphrase and then send your coins to the wallet, then unlock the wallet for staking and leave it open to earn stakes. If you can leave it open for as long as possible to earn the most rewards. |

Boat has actually been holding steady even with no news from the dev but for how long it can continue will remain to be seen. It could be like this for a while longer as PoW has ended and a lot of people are staking going by the high network weight and the number of active connections, so this does tell me that there is a lot of people supporting Boat but again for how long will this last is the question. Lets hope we get some news update soon. |

I have some good news and that is I have been in talks with someone who is willing to help out and make Boat a top coin. However the problem is that he needs to get in contact with the dev which might be hard to achieve as we haven't seen him around for months now. If anyone can help get in contact with him it would be great as the person I have been talking to is serious about helping out on the project.
