Looking forward to an official wallet that I don't have to command line attach to and manually load in a list of master nodes! Hint hint!

There already is an official wallet out with GUI. If you aren't syncing then you need to close it and open it again and wait like 10 minutes and it should work.

Is it still possible to solo mine this coin  with about 247 mh/s ? The net hash rate and difficulty seems too high ?

Currently my pool is running low with below 1 GHz hashing power (2 miners!) and is still managing to find blocks at regular intervals. Inviting miners to join the pool and level the playing field.

Minimum payout: 1 MC.
Payouts run every 1 hour.
Pool fee: 0.5%

It would take a verrrry long time but it's possible. Pools are really the way to go unless you have over 1GH of power at the moment.

 Cool Cool Cool
I can confirm that this pool is the most stable by far.
The owner of pool has made an agreement to give some of the collected fees to the devs for further developments and updates.
So by mining on Nomnom pool you are donating to Musicoin devs.

Looking into it. Thanks.

Same here, 0xe4f0c4db1148271ea17cf3e604f592e329313c8a with 800+ in pending
Please advise, thanks  Wink

Don't worry payments have all been sent out except a few small ones that are locked. I'm working to resolve and will report when completed.
Thank you, still in pending

Can anyone confirm that they really got paid from the pool? Its still showing 0 payments sent out when i just checked it. I haven't received any of my coins i mined yet.

Still hoping we didnt get scammed but losing faith in music coin and nomnom pool. It shouldn't take days to sort this out.

I haven't received my coins yet.

I see your issue. It's the backup pool at musicoin2.nomnom that you are seeing this on not the main one. I'll resolve this as soon as possible. I was operating under the assumption that you were on the main pool with everyone else.

PCmode came through and got all my coins that were stuck on pool. He was even nice enough to communicate the issue with me while on his vacation. Definitely going to mine with nomnom pool again. Thanks for the help

The player on the site is not user-friendly. It does not allow to click somewhere on the track to listen to what it will be in the middle of the song, or maybe to listen to some part again. It is very important and necessary to have such opportunity.

Poloniex listing has been requested. They list when they want without notification. They look at volume and tech of the coin/platform.
We are in a holding pattern like everyone other coin request there.

Musicoin dev, please share the coin dev fund address over here as I am planning to update my pool fee strategy to donate some % of it for musicoin development. This is important as the coin started out with 0% premine and only the funding keeps it moving forward.

I can also vouch for pcmode and his pool. I've been mining in it since I found this awesome coin and haven't had any issues that he hasn't quickly and efficiently resolved! Anyone interested in joining feel free to check it out at http://musicoin.nomnom.technology  Grin

Thanks!

Having read the whitepaper I was wondering if there was a reason why the very simple answer to Donald's question is not on the first post in this thread?

It seems you get asked this all the time and having it right out there would do a lot to dispel misunderstandings and FUD as a result of people only being familiar with the Bitcoin monetary model.

Any chance you can put a dumbed-down explanation in the first post? Cause right now people are just dumping their musicoins left and right on Bittrex. I can't help but wonder if this is the reason why?

Bitcointalk is full of mostly traders, speculators and miners. Make it simple for them.

I agree with your synopsis and yes there is more info coming out soon to help with these day to day questions.

Please note that in the next few weeks our main spokesperson Brian Byrne will be at the Canadian Music week and we expect to gain more of a public footprint at this time.

Trust me there is a lot of housekeeping to a startup such as ours but we are working diligently to make everything user friendly and really appreciate the feedback from the community.
