Here is a beginner friendly article on musicoin for those that are new to the project as well as mining.

https://steemit.com/musicoin/@pcturnaround/what-is-musicoin

We're so excited to show you guys what we've planned for musicoin in a fresher and newer perspective in the coming weeks and months ahead! We're starting to gain a lot of traction in our slack community, and please, feel free to join in the conversation with us. Thank you everyone in here for all your support! Smiley

Thanks for all that clarification, Funtek. I'd release a few articles on social media and push that message. I talk to ten people a day who  don't get the ecosystem model, nor the interdependence via musicoin's payment role with musicoinomi.

Keep in mind that there has been frequent complaints about missing payments from nomnom. I would recommend switching to another mining pool. If you're still in nomnom, please be cautious and mine at your own risk.

I second that. Nomnom payout is consistently below what I get at miningpoolhub (which I highly recommend). MPH is daunting at first if you try to use all the available auto-exchange and multi-algo features. The main thing to know is that top-left links for "Edit Account" or "Hub Worker" aren't as important if you're just mining musicoin. Those are the main account settings, mostly for the advanced features. What you want is the musicoin sub-page. If you go to the main account section, you'll see all the coins listed on the left, and you click on Musicoin to get to its page. Once there, look down on the left nav about halfway on the page for "Musicoin Pool" and then "My Account". That's where all your worker and wallet/payout settings go if you're just mining musicoin. Good luck! https://miningpoolhub.com/

What's the trick to getting the win 64 wallet to sync? Left on overnight and it just said trying to connect to peers the whole time. Running Pi v0.4, all I want to do is create a local wallet so I can pool mine.

Can you check https://github.com/Musicoin/desktop/releases

for v0.5?

There's peer adding function and some enodes for initialization.

Anyone figure out how to add this to classicetherwallet?
I mine at Epool which shows many pay outs but I can't see them in the ETC wallet.
I can add a custom token which requires "address, token symbol and decimals"

Is that where you add or do you use a file from the ETC wallet and add it to the MC wallet?

Thanks!

Even a scamcoin like VOICE and their VSM ICO has gone up over 100% since it was released. I can't wait to see what happens to MUSIC and Musiconomi next month!

At this point, we're not affiliated with the musiconomi project albeit they're using our currency for their platform. Any questions regarding their ICO can be directly answered on their slack channel at https://musiconomi.slack.com Smiley
