IMHO each artist should be able to decide on his own how much he wants to charge to each listening, no matter if in Musicoin or in $, € or whatever.

It seems i'm a bit offside... what's exactly the problem with bittrex?  

they blocked hundred thousands account for any reason, reset users already registered and asked for documents for registration but after few months peoples who sent their documents are still blocked and can't withdraw theirs coins
they don't answer to support
they didn't block me but blocked 2 friends of mine and for now only one has been unblocked, the other wait for 1 month
we 3 are french
i lost btc on cryptsie i won't lost on bittrex

Could we organize vote for $MUSIC hardness increase faster along most $MUSIC stakeholders? I also suggest anyone to invite and suggest project to friends musicians or just give a try and find contacts of your favorite bands, and write them about project.
Maybe we also can make add some benefits to people who invited musicians? Basically I have several bands and the list I personally know very close, but it will be hard decision to drop current work, and go outside to meet will all those people. Just I know that contacting with their managers mostly will solve nothing, and to do it I need to meet in person and thats a lot of time.

Hand full of fools saying bittrex is stealing their coins and is insolvent without any proof or substance to it

I have had an account there since 2014,  just got back into it about 4 months ago, setup basic authentication so far and i have a limit of 0.4btc which fluctuates depending of Btc value as the withdraw limit is $3000 worth of coins for basic. I have had no problems withdrawing music or Eth or BTC

Musicoin does not have stakes; however, we reward community members who contribute their effort to our project, as in any other crypto projects.

I downloaded the Windows Desktop Wallet in the OP.  It's version 0.7.0.  It's not connecting to any peers, even with the list of peers postd on 7/12/2017.  Does anyone know the solution?
