I'm even thinking an idea for the coins. Kinda like the same idea as steemit where steem is the power or clout in the platform. So you could use your music coins as the steam for your band or artist page. It would be a pretty bad ass use case for the coin.

The ping isn't the best for my location in the US (about 195-205ms) but I don't seem to have too much of a problem with stale shares as I am getting credited for my full hashrate (else I wouldn't keep mining there for months). Orchardcoins has a good rep, too, though.

Hey sure, plenty of development, we are currently working on the mobile app and the integration with the Volareo speaker. You can check our roadmap in the first page of this thread, also, as you saw yourself the platform itself its making huge progress

It's Fair. Fair for both sides of music lovers (listeners and creators). Like a revolution, they give a brand-new sight of music industry on paying. Coming from direct financing, the purpose of Musicoin is to get rid of traditionally unfair ecosystem. But now, it is still too complicated for every user to use it, there might be a long way to go, e.g., their interface cannot overcome KKBox or Soundcloud/ wallet is hard for a beginner. This may not be a big trouble observing from their past acting. Still looking forward to it.

Hi all,

I'm the IT guy at one small and alternative label, we are from the beginning in the DIY, copyleft and punk-hc escene and we prefer do not delegate on nobody to reach our audience, all the bands that plays with us are in the same attitude.

We have been delaying the step into the digital distribution too much, we began editing casettes! The next year is our 30th anniversary and i'm looking for a digital music platform we can upload our records and bands giving alternatives to the business platforms (bandcamp, youtube, spotify,...). Musicoin seems very near we are looking for, but i have some questions after reading the docs and github repos:

-- Can we integrate the platform in our website or install our mod platform in  subdomain? is there any module developed or i should go for the json-rpc api at go-musicoin?

-- Is it needed the login for the listeners? If i click in an artist  link, for example the artist of the week, i can access and is usable the page, i can listen the content, but if i go to the land page it's impossible to access without a login. Although is a great feature for the recurrent users including the forums, for casual and new users exploring is not fine.
