Antminer S7 RED LIGHT wont hash

Hi i was hoping some of you mining experts could give me some insight to why one of my s7's stopped hashing.

It was hashing fine for a week or two, then all of a sudden I have a red light and the s7 wont hash.  I tried resetting etc. all the normal troubleshooting but no luck.

When I power the s7 on it gives me a blinking red light the s7 goes up to 4.7 th for like 2 minutes and comes back down to 0. 

Can anyone help me out?  I really am at a loss, can't find much online about s7's with a red light.

Can you upload a screenshot of the antminers status screen both before and after this happens? It is hard to diagnose just based off the red light.

I had a similar issue: 

First i thought it was my internet connection.  I'm set up outside in a large shed we uses as a work room.  I used two Apple Airport Extreme's to make a bridge out there.  Apparently our power glitches and it didn't reboot correctly, so there was no internet connection.  Second I found that the server address for my pool was incorrect, one letter off.  2 hours of troubleshooting for a blinking amber light on the router and a fat fingered extra letter. 

Check the small stuff first, then check it again.

Thanks for your reply, I actually figured it out.  The antminer was sometimes hitting around 81 degrees so it was shutting down automatically.  I unchecked the auto shutoff exceeding 80 degrees and added an extra fan and everything is fine now.

you should not disable the auto shut off. If one of your fans dies for whatever reason you will fry your system that way. The S7 will run until it literally catches fire.

If it is auto shut off is kicing in, PLEASE instead of disabling the safety feature, please seek a way to make the room cooler/colder

Also, please check if the built in fan is operating property.  Screen shots be nice but if you can' grab the screenshots, please make sure fan is operating at 4000 range RPM when the ASIC shows 70 c degrees or hotter.  (If you see slow RMP speed, that may be the cause of the high temperature)

unit is pulling 1400W and if you are running a few of them, if you let it overheat, it may burn down the facility you are operating in.  (Property loss is one thing but fire can claim human or animal's life and more)

thanks for all your replies.  I'm getting an ac unit this week, so ill recheck the those boxes back.  Thanks for the advice about overheating definitely don't want a fire.

According to Bitmain, The beeping indicates that the machine has stopped hashing. The most common reason is an interruption in the internet connection.

In my case, there is shown that the room temperature was 20C and in the antminer status page it does not show temperatures higher than 60 degrees when working at 100%. So, I would rule out temperature (it is winter and I keep my window open). My internet connection is stable. The address of the pool is correct since I have been mining for 2 weeks. it just suddenly one day stop mining, and it start beeping and crying... any one knows what to do?  I am tired of reboting it. It only mines for 5 minutes and crashes again...
