I was able to setup dual mining on my AMD cards using the claymore miner easy enough. Has anyone figured out dualmining on excavator on nvidia cards?

I'm running 2x 980ti cards

All you need to do is to add two algos and assign workers to each, I think.

How to set something like "--gpu-platform 1" in GG?

Unlike GG, OpenCL platforms are transparent with zero-based device ID's in excavator.
For example, if there are two devices on Platform 0, the device ID of the first device on Platform 1 is 2.

    Platform 0: Device 0, Device 1
    Platform 1: Device 2

Makes sense?

Is it ok to replace the excavator version of the nicehash miner with this version?

The best is to call device.list and see which device_id it is (https://github.com/nicehash/excavator/tree/master/api#device-list).

Yes, but NHM cannot work with this new version, it is not supported yet.

i haven`t mined with excavator , but with ccminer is

ccminer-x64 -a sia -o stratum+tcp://us-west.siamining.com:3333 -u xxx -p xxx -i 28

you can use the help tab of any mining pool to help you set up a miner Wink

I must be doing something wrong because its like 500m/h per 1070 for me.... what ccminer are you using?

Power limits and speeds are visible from the picture (using default launch params, you may tune them to go higher, had no time to do that myself - yet):

is there  going to be an implementation to incorporate dual mining profitability of both coins instead of just looking at the main coin?
for example
I have a system that does:
Equi @2.6 ksol/s  @0.01088 btc/day
ethash @ 159Mhash/s @0.01031 btc/day

but with dual mining ethash + sai
ethash @ 128Mhash/s @0.00832 btc/day + sai @ 5.14GH/s @ 0.00929 btc/day
for a total of 0.01761 btc/day for dual mining.

but the way your miner (i.e. nicehash miner) is set up, i'll always be mining equi and losing on half of my potential income.

I cannot connect to the pascal.eu.nicehash.com - what port should I use?
Never mind, I managed to connect using the sia.eu.nicehash.
I used this to connect from my 1070 laptop:

[
   {"time":0,"commands":[
      {"id":1,"method":"algorithm.add","params":["sia","sia.eu.nicehash.com:3360","address.worker1"]}
   ]},
   {"time":3,"commands":[
      {"id":1,"method":"worker.add","params":["0","0"]},
      {"id":1,"method":"worker.add","params":["0","0"]}
   ]},
   {"time":10,"loop":10,"commands":[
      {"id":1,"method":"worker.print.speed","params":["0"]},
      {"id":1,"method":"worker.print.speed","params":["1"]},
      {"id":1,"method":"algorithm.print.speeds","params":["0"]}
   ]}
]

Can somebody please help a poor guy and edit this for a 5 Nvidia GPU rig? I have no ideea how to set these, but if somebody can show me I think I will get the hang of it for next time.

This is wrong thread. You should ask that at NiceHash Miner thread.

Add 5 workers, each one for one card:

It already is. Download whole package and run .bat file - it will auto configure web and open it in your default browser.

I posted my whole cmd file for equihash several posts ago. Check it out.

This one I use for Sia:
