How to know that your cell is been hack?

I hope speaking and asking of this here if it is good and its in the right place. First I am posting this here because I got a problem and it's weird. My smartphone device light is blinking when I turned the brightness low. I got into the conclusion of hacking because I experienced this everytime when I turn the brightness low and decided to let my cellphone be fixed the mother board of my cellphone is now change 100 percent new and just yesterday night it happened again. I know its kind a little funny but I hope someone help me aven you think my smartphone is hacked or not.

•How to know that my smartphone is in the process of hacking?

•Will I need to cover my cameras cellphone everynight? Like what others suggest the same with a laptop?
