Bit-x has reduced its pay rates.

Where it is posted ? If it is some where please provide us the link, and dont post if you dont know about any thing. I think its the bug in the site and it will be corrected soon.
I have a feeling the person who posted that is Marcotheminer announcing the reduction. This is obviously speculation but it would make sense. I don't think you can edit your posts when you are banned.

He can edit the signature, which he has been doing.

If the reduction is correct and not an error in the bot it might indicate that Bit-x is not gaining as much as they had expected.

That reduction is real. That newbie account who posted it in this thread earlier is probably Marko indeed. Look at this guys:

I removed the few lines not related to the lowered rate and.. here we are:

marcotheminer: I've changed rates.
marcotheminer: I'll make an announcement soon.
marcotheminer: Rates change when you're paid.
marcotheminer: Can you try to explain
marcotheminer: That I've lowered the rate.
marcotheminer: I'll explain in a few hours
marcotheminer: See you

So I guess rates will be either on par with DaDice or even lower now. I wonder why the change?

I doubt he's going to evade his ban this way when he's not got long left till it expires. He probably just gave that info out on irc or wherever else he's communicating info to people.

By not paying for spammy posts he will not attract spammers, leaving room for people who make higher quality posts, which will increase the overall effectiveness of the campaign
That's one problem. Whether the post is considered spammy or is only the manager's choice and the participants are not being told which of their posts were disqualified.
The other is the length of posts. If it was only about spam I wouldn't even start the argument, but it seems most posters were paid less than they should because their posts, according to the person who counted them, were too short. I guess that's it, we'll see how they do next week. Smiley
Well it seems to be your argument for the manager to pay for all posts despite their spam status, which is obviously not the solution. If you are making a lot of one liners then you are more likely to have few/none of your one liners paid for, while on the other hand if you have mostly posts that you put a lot of effort into then a very short post would be more likely to be paid out. Yes that is not treating everyone exactly the same when deciding when to pay a specific post however the one liner is more likely to be looked at closely if written by someone who has a reputation for putting effort into their posts verses someone who has likely made their ways to many people's ignore list for posting crap

You misunderstood me. I'm arguing that:
-There was only a rule saying spam is not allowed, but this rule turned out to be "I'll decide if I like your post or not" and nothing about posts being likely or more likely to be paid for. I find it to be picky, but i'm sure some people will like it and stay in that campaign, while some will not (they had at least 4 resignations after the first week).
-the manager said it himself that it's normal that some posts weren't counted if they didn't fit the formula
Quote
We kind of use a formula to determine the number of posts. We won't be able to classify all posts as constructive or otherwise, since some will be on the borderline.
And that the closer to the weekly limit you are the greater chance of your posts not being counted.
Quote
93 posts counted. Too many posts can't check atm. I saw a post in games and rounds and may be that was ignored? It tends to be stricter as the post count goes up. Wink
I find this awkward and that's it. I'll allow myself to quote their manager again:
Quote
We will improve on our methods slowly.
Good luck then Smiley

That's pretty surprising given the fact that just yesterday dadice made their first payment and all went smoothly (IMO).  Additionally, there's the fact that as of last week bit-x was explicitly advertising against dadice's campaign saying "our rates are better".  I can't help but wonder if there's something regarding the marcotheminer ban which is related to this.  By the way, is he back yet?

there is a chance that the rates has been reduced only for users with high rate of insubstantial posts.

But we will only be certain once Marco is back

I have checked a few users that have already received the payment for their first week and I have seen that the payRate has lowered for all these users. So it seems there are the new payRate for the bit-x signature campaign (Maybe marcotheminer can updated this page "http://bitsig.website/" and make a sort of  *log* with all the changes).

They already launched a campaign. I believe instead of paying you for posts, they give your referral link a better percentage when people join.

Also, keep an eye out for bit-x. I heard their rates are dropping soon and Dadice will be the highest payout campaign.

it is not a signature campaign.

You can use the referral anywhere you want, including your signature, and the revenue is not directly related to posts

And PD is slow, so might take some years for the campaign to launch

Here you go, news from the manager of the bit-x.com sig. campaign :

Message from marcotheminer

Quote
Hey guys! First week of the bot has been completed and the payments are being made as users pass the 1 week mark.

New rates (due to the high number of posters and no limits) are:
Staff: 0.0014
Hero and Above: 0.0013
Senior: 0.0011
Full Member: 0.0008

Still no minimums or maximums! Please avoid making useless posts, I will start being tough on spammers as soon as my ban is gone.

Local posts do not count anymore.

I will be restructuring the campaign soon (perhaps switch to a more efficient monthly payout or once a week payout for everyone at the same time and increase rates again).

What do you guys think?

I’ll be unbanned in 5 days or so.

Regards,
Marco

So I guess aggressive rate increasing and no limit of participants and post takes its toll. My prediction is that DaDice signature campaign will now be the most desirable forum campaign to enroll in since they are paying the most per post. That is also great thing because manager of DaDice is taking spam post very seriously so I doubt spammers will be paid.

yes i can vouch for this as well....AMHash has pulled an escape from the tagline payment plan

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

EternalWingsOfGod, thank you very much for this update. Will edit the OP right now.
EDIT: Done.

No problem glad to help  Wink

I was waiting a bit longer for a confirmation on this one but considering the fact that the site has been down since December and thinking about it I doubt i'll get an answer to my question any time soon, I think you can say the BTCRabbit Campaign is long dead suprised no one checked for three months  Roll Eyes

Website is closed. I presume campaign is closed too.

I am no longer in control of any funds for this campaign. The remaining funds held in escrow have been released to Rollin.io. https://blockchain.info/tx/370790bfc7571bf1187486e0ca191d41ce8a689fa0e13382a03f506cd273d72e

it seems like rollion.io is no longer using up escrow service for now, perhaps the OP needs to be updated mitchell

Spammers wont be paid, if you checked the spreadsheet there are alot that got zero payment throughout the previous weeks and the chance of being reported to mod if your account spam

Weeks? There's been only 1 week and some of these people you're talking about did not get paid because they had no posts made.

lets drop the english nazy since english isnt my native language  Smiley, quick read up and you are right, it seems like they hasnt posted in a while, but most got their payment cut to almost half what they made, this is to encourage spammers to join the campaign
