It's still impossible for mostly of us to live without bank account, Paypal and other similar things. We can't do our daily stuff by having only bitcoins. And bitcoin isn't a perfect currency to become it accepted everywhere. It's long and difficult road to make bitcoin used by everyone is ahead us.

We cant just withdraw our funds on bank and buy bitcoins. We need banks for safety of our money. Besides, we cant buy anything with bitcoin like cash can. So we need banks to be able to make it cash. We dont have much options because bitcoin has limitations. One more thing. What if you buy bitcoin and the price falls? Maybe if all people around the world adapts bitcoin. We can do it. But right now, its not the right time.

Its will take times to get people belived in bitcoin, you can not just spend all of your money to buy bitcoin and then use it for your daily need. Agree that there are many system accept cryptocurrency transfer nowadays. But its still not enough for you, not enough for your life. I mean what would you do if you have a meal in a store which just accept cash and that time all your cash was changed to bitcoin?
Strongly agree that bitcoin are more common and convenience day by day but we still need cash, need banks, credit cards because those things are very familiar with everyone for long time. We just can change that fact slowly and effectively

This idea was really hard to implement knowing that we traditionally use cash as a payment for daily basis(for most of the people). I'm not saying that it's not possible but unless someone initiates to do it on just a smaller scale and undergone test and experiments, and successfully implement on that set of subjects.It's just the same with someone suggesting "Let's use Papypal as a way of payment on our daily expenses.

That's right, it will take time, I think everyone noticed how over the last two years has made Bitcoin decent leap forward and this trend will continue. Every year more and more services, shops and the like will accept Bitcoin.

Indeed. There is no shop which accepts Bitcoin in my country and you will be desperate if you live here. Bitcoin is not as popular as most of you guys think and we need to wait for a long time for Bitcoin to be recognized and utilized widely on this planet. I'm storing and earning bitcoin like you. I mean I dont use much because there are not many place that provide bitcoin services around my house. Almost my bitcoin transactions are done via network like facebook, seller,... I'm looking for the shop that accept bitcoin and try to use it for the first time.

Bitcoin getting acceptance similar to our fiat is simply hard to take place in a short to make everyone use bitcoin directly for their needs. As quoted above Super Market accepting bitcoin can never be seen soon. Recent days Japan have been getting more stores with bitcoin acceptance.

i think the important question is about whether you will be open to spending your bitcoin if a supermarket started accepting bitcoin today? and the answer may surprise you when most people say no to spending their coins since it is just an investment that they are waiting to make them rich.

Yes, I think it's hard to make people stop using banks, paypal and the like. Then told to switch to bitcoin, maybe for some people this is already happening. But the number was not proportional to the number of people who do not want to use bitcoin even if the person already knows bitcoin. Unlike the banks that already existed long ago and of course people will have more confidence to save their assets there. None of really do have a choice in that if we want to use money every day(which we do) we need to go through a bank.

Paying tax is not entirely bad why do people think paying tax is always a bad thing, the government needs the money to function what the money is used for is not something that we can control.

Well, this is a bitcoin forum so that question is stupid, everyone here uses bitcoin. What "thing" do you want to create? All that needs to be done for buying everything with bitcoin is convincing merchants to accept bitcoin like they do visa or other electronic payment. And lastly, no one here cries about unconfirmed txes.

I can feel your passion for bitcoin but sad to say that we cannot let go of banks since we need banks at this moment. We can let go of PayPal but notof banks. Remember that bitcoin is backed up by fiat currency and fiat currency is produced by the Central Bank. Without the fiat currency backing up bitcoins then bitcoin will lost its value. Without banks there are no fiat currency, without fiat currency bitcoin will have no value.

Yes, exactly, we should not forget that we are still using this money or fiat now, bitcoin is useful on making money because we converted it to fiat that we use in our daily life.  One day, when bitcoin will be widely used, then we do not need to convert it in Cash as we can perform direct bitcoin to bitcoin transactions.

Vito, we all want to get rid of banks, but the governments will not allow for that to happen. They are in bed with these banks and they control the

flow of money into and out of their country. We want mainstream adoption, and some of us are actively promoting Bitcoin to the public with

different methods. { We have weekly meetups in my city, and we invite guests to these meetups to get them interested. }

We hate the situation with the scaling problems and the spam attacks, but unfortunately this is the way it works and if you want to make a

difference, then you should run a node and "vote" for the best solution that you may think, will take us forward.

To my point of view some decades will pass before people come around to use only bitcoin and other crypto instead of fiat for many reasons. Many people, I am one of them I have taken a loan from bank which will hopefully  the last repaid end of 2024. Till then bank owns my house. Moreover, even though I live in Europe and there are some shops happily accept bitcoin unfortunately all utility bills have been paid only with cash or credit cards that is, fiat and banks. So, nowadays, is only a dream or utopia if someone believes he can lives without bank transactions and fiat. Of course these can be restricted only to the absolutely necessary transactions.

Sounds like just the sort of work more people (like us) need to do. Just keep talking about it and people will buy into it on their own. You mentioned city meetups, I wonder if you've taken a look at the Bitcoin City (Arnhem). Are you trying to be like them? I even wonder if bitcoin has displaced any alternative methods there.
